Thanks Morgan. Arlo needs a haircut so he’s looking a bit bigger than normal! I was certain it was junk but I’m glad I took another look at it because even though it’s ugly it’s probably the biggest bit I’ve found this year… until the next video anyway 😉

I checked them out but only found 1 tiny bit out of one down the hill away from the reef. I spoke to the guys when they were drilling and they said they found a bit but they didn’t say which hole it was. 🤷🏼‍♂️ cheers mate

👍after a while you'll get the taste of it, gold got that tingly metallic lovely taste, while a bit of old rust tastes like a bit of old rust. I got myself a six, after watching the like of Pete, savage, brothers and of course yourself on them, been over old patches and leases got over eight kilos of lead in a few outing and still no gold, thou two pieces of lead covered most of that weight.

I love the taste! That’s not what you want unless you’re into making sinkers! If I could give any advice with the 6 it would be to go to a place with some mullocks and scrap back every sound you hear. 1 in 50 scrapes should should improve and you’ll get a bit. Once you’ve got 1 bit in a mullock stay there as there is almost definitely more in that spot! I recon there is gold in every mullock, you just have to find it!

@@piratescrew1869 that's the thing I'm into making sinkers, I used to rack mullocks heaps, was a small scale miner/ prospector for 30 odd years until I got crook a few years ago. (Still prospecting). Aiirleg mining was my cup of tea. Just had too hand back leases this time last year as the department would renew the leases as no work was continuing, but I'm crook🤬. Got good spots too go to but just have to get off my arse and have a swing, should clean up with the six. One spot I can see from my house, sometimes you blokes give my motivation to get up and have a go, already got five other machines, just not enough arms to run them. PS how did you teach your dog too speak so well🤔.

Nice one mate ! Give it a swim in some brickies acid ( hydrochloric ) for 12 hrs. Found gold trapped in black ironstone, and manganese before. We were actually chucking the smooth manganese nuggets ( from deep lead mullock ) away before we worked out what they were 😳
