I used to have a Craig MP4 Player whenever I was really young. I vividly remember leaving it on the living room floor and my mom stepping on it causing the plastic over the screen to be badly cracked. As a North American viewer, I feel I must explain the significance that Craig electronics had to me. It’s really nostalgic, honestly. It reminds me of a time when I would go into CVS and just see a whole row of these lined up (because let’s be real, no one really bought these). I know I would buy at least one when I knew I was going someplace that I could potentially lose or damage my iPod, but that’s mostly just because these things were that cheap. They were almost always on sale, so I doubt I ever paid full price for one. Good times. I’m glad you have a Craig collection. It’s just funny to me that they never had them in Australia. I had one of the red mp4 players in green once, was pretty resilient for what it was, could never get it to play videos but for audio it wasn't "Terrible"? Like if they just called it an MP3 player and left it at that it wasn't a horrible piece of kit, but it would crash every now and then as it got older, until it stopped holding a charge completely. I can't compare it to as iPod as I've never had one, but compared to my old Nokia brick it was pretty good. Great video though!

1:55 Predating the era of VGA, there were other, more simplistic standards. A variant of which that was developed shortly after Monochrome was "CGA," It Involved a mere 2 colors on its palette: Cyan, and Magenta. Overlapping the two colors on screen at once could create a white, but those were all it was capable of displaying. It sounds primitive, but this was late 80's PC technology at its finest. In fact, another standard you eluded to yourself without realizing it. 16 colors was the maximum capable by the standard preceding CGA, known as "EGA"

The disclaimer at 3:00 is a ROHS warning required for anything being sold in the US that uses leaded solder (it can apply to other things but mostly just that). It just means that the wires were attached to the pins with regular solder instead of the tin-silver crap.
