I love the way you play the game, you keep the silence whenever there's a dialogue running on, you refuse every bit of spoiler and you don't turn on the subscribers/donation notifications. Hull hardening mod (for Seamoth) will help with fish and wall collisions :) IIRC it completely negates damage from small sources. Maybe you can try it instead of spoiling sonar! I'll also keep shilling scanner room by saying it also has wallhack and can show you caves above and below its position on the map it generates. May become handy if you decide to go vertical.

Also, the interior of a player-built base is a seperate "biome," meaning that if you go inside a void base the ghosts will lose interest due to how they are coded to only attack you if you are in the void biome. Also, trying to kill a ghost in the void is not recommended. Unlike other leviathans, adult ghosts spawn infinitely, meaning killing one will just make the game spawn another. The game can also spawn a max of five ghosts at a time, so killing or even scanning one will be a hassle due to four others trying to kill you.

I did some light research and the deepest dive using scuba is 332.35 Something I learned is that in deep dives the heart rate can slow down to 15 beats per minute. One of the most dangerous parts about deep dives is the accent

you were looking for nickel quite a while in that area so that gave me an idea, you can simply build scanner room + the HUD upgrade in order to find all the ores you want in that area and since there's no sunlight and there's a lot of heat in the area, you can build a thermal reactor in order to power the scanner room

Pretty sure there are 6 reapers around the Aurora, 3 in the mountains, and 8-10 in the dunes. You will know when you enter the dunes when you get the message: "Detecting multiple leviathans in the region. Are you sure what you are doing is worth it?" The area is great for drillable resources, but you have a high chance of dying.

He hasn't been recharging batteries or power cells off base power until very recently, and he broke down his scanner room because it was annoying to place. He's also been sleeping through the nights, so if the available power's been dropping while the sun is down, he's slept right through it and not realized. And he never found either undersea Degasi base, so he hasn't been running a water filtration device.

I love this survival gameplays Insym in on at the moment. Such great videos! Just for the records, Ark Survival Evolved has a very huge storyline. So huge in fact, that they are making a whole animated series for it. But, the story is about people that were there before the player, and the player cannot interact with it. It's still exciting to follow the story elements and to experience what the people from the story experienced. But Ark is a game, that you can and mostly will play completely without following the story, because it is actually very hard to find all the story notes.

HIGHLY recommend Green Hell (Ark is amazing, but you don't get hand-held at all and you actually have to SEARCH and piece together story with environmental stuff, journals of different survivors, ruins and so on WHILE surviving, building, taming etc. Its also rather slow/huge), Grounded and Raft are very fun as well (PS: All can be played Multiplayer but insanely fun on their own as well), Core Keeper is simple/cute/cozy kind of a survival, 7 Days is also kind of long (can be fun with friends? See how long you can keep going), ehm... there's a few others but Subnautica is DEFINITELY one of the better ones out there and i am so so happy that you tried it out and enjoyed it. (Long text is long, sorry), Dig or Die is also fun, Don't Starve/Don't Starve Together, Valheim is very good, i really enjoyed Starsand, V Rising maybe? Vampire survival, The Survivalists, Scrap Mechanic? There's a lot out there but yeah, some are definitely way above others,

Sorry for double comments, but to answer your question at 2:19:40 - yes, there's a space exploration game that needs not only the wiki, but also MANY other 3rd party tools to guide you through the Milky Way; and that game is called Elite: Dangerous. The game needs a Wiki not because it's difficult, but because the game world is literally too big - you can fly the whole Milky Way galaxy (created according to space telescope data), and even just the star systems surrounding Sol are hard enough to navigate for beginners.

I have some very important, spoiler free advice for you!! I only want you to avoid some common, annoying, potentially soft-locking bugs. Tip! After you build the cyclops, have an extra set of fully charged power cells on hand in case you loose power somewhere inconvenient. It's possible to soft-lock yourself. Bug avoidance advice; The small vehicles(seamoth, prawnsuit) can be very buggy. Never save while inside them. I've personally not had issues with the seamoth, just don't park it near the ground. The "bases" you can walk inside with the prawnsuit have known unfixable bugs, where the prawnsuit can get stuck.(this has to do with the physics engine and how the prawn finds the "floor") While navigating in the prawn you can avoid them by doing the following; always walk in straight lines, stop fully then turn to change directions, always have a grappling hook arm either on your person, equipped, or in the prawn's storage as you can use it to pull yourself along. Take it slow and get out on flat even surfaces only. If the prawn does not squat, it might get stuck if you walk too far away from it. Also, just to note, the normal ground is fine to park and run on. it's only the green grey base floors that are buggy. The unstuck command in the menu will only teleport the player, not the vehicle!! In case the suit gets glued to the floor you can try these options. Pull free using the jump and/or grapple arm. Run at least 50m away then sprint back and get inside as quickly as possible, this sometimes gives you a small window to move/get unstuck. Use a Repulsion cannon to give it a little nudge. Sometimes these don't work though. In which, RIP prawnsuit. NEVER leave a prawnsuit unattended inside these "bases", which includes saving while inside the base. If the area unloads, the prawn will sink into the floor. If this happens the suit is effectively LOST. Get your upgrades, arms and items out of it and turn off the beacon because the only way to fix it is to use console commands and this will lock you out of achievements. For ultimate avoidance, make a full backup of your save before entering any of the "bases" with the prawn. (And for those who are curious, use the biome command to go to the safe shallows, then use goto command to warp back to where you got stuck, then very quickly grab the suit and start jumping while everything loads around you, with some luck, you'll be unstuck. I've used this to successfully retrieve a fully sunken in prawn. Though it might only work because I have a potato computer.)

I don't know if Insym will read this, but an answer to a few questions, since he asked: Yes, supplies from wrecks (titanium panels and supply crates) DO respawn. Or at least, they USED to. The devs mentioned on their Trello during development that the canon reason for it is 'debris from the crash is still falling from the atmosphere'. So... Yes. Wrecks and such don't respawn. The point of the extra power stations you can build are apparent when you find other machines. Won't spoil why. There are, in fact, several Reapers on the map. I don't recall the precise number. There is literally no point in killing Reapers, because they respawn. Other than... Y'know. Bragging rights. I could say a lot more, like give a very small hint as to where pieces for the Cyclops are found, but I won't. I agree that trivializing important info about games is kind of stupid. I WILL say that the Cyclops is cool. Edit: It used to be that the Ecological Dead Zone's Ghost Leviathan was an instant kill, through vehicles. Could not be stunned or killed. Just instant death. People were so terrified of it that the devs added one to the biome you first met one in. XD Fun facts!

That is why the stasis rifle is end game and not that early game as its looted in a time capsuel. Leviathans are supposed to be dagerous and best avioded in a smart way something needs to scare u in a game to make it fun.
