I remember as a kid wanting this box SOOOOOOO bad because Metagross/Mega Metagross is probably my favorite Pokémon, but I didn’t have the money at the time and I’m regretting it so much. I might have to look into buying the promo cards from this box if they’re not too expensive.

I started collecting in the XY era with my brother and friends. I remember pulling the cards for how they were meant to be pulled... for the use of playing and using them. I remember being so excited pulling a tyrantrum because of how powerful and playable the card was. I was never sad to not pull an EX or mega, even tho those were cool af. Interesting how valuable the cards are now.

Defo got all the luck in the first packs. Great to see an older xy box though. Do you find those boxes have good pulls generally or find the single blisters do? I think sometimes the big collection boxes to be nice to keep sealed but there pull rates are terrible.

XY erav is good, however Evolutions is in the top 3 sets for me. All the OG cards that bring me back to my childhood but at the same time it doesn't break the bank opening them.
