Says SO much about that “manager” at Guitar Center. Butthurt about being exposed for what he did… not understanding at ALL that it’s what he did that is ridiculous. Typical these days. Brad, I’ve been meaning to tell you this for awhile now. I absolutely LOVE your intros where you ‘modify’ all of the movie/TV logo designs. Memories from my youth are full of those images. I don’t know how easy it is to do that kind of thing - but just know that it isn’t lost on me at least. I get SUCH a kick out of that. One man’s trash, even when RIDICULOUSLY & NEEDLESSLY DESIGNATED as “trash”, truly can be another man’s treasure. Keep diving, brother. Be well & God bless, Brad. 👍🏼

Well business is business… I don't think anybody likes being held up and paraded around for somebody else's quasi-moral crusade, that's kind of silly. How many reject Gibson guitars in a week do you think the co. destroys, I believe it's enough wasted by-product that Jack Daniels or somebody buys Gibson's scrap hardwood for charcoal to filter their whiskey. They do not save every possible guitar, to stay in business Gibson (or GC) maintain a margin. But KZbin is really about entertainment so I get it why people stir up drama. Companies just have to deal with that.

What a great job on the restoration. My local music stored had a Squier bass that was cut with a band saw just sitting in front of the register. Apparently, the owner had stripped the truss rod nut and tightened it to the point that the skunk stripe was popping out the back. The owner called Squier warranty service and was told to destroy it. He didn't want to, but he couldn't get the customers warranty fulfilled unless he did.

I saw what Sean did with the discarded guitar, and it turned out great. I've worked at places like Office Depot, and they'd just throw away boxes of pens and office supplies if the boxes were damaged, even though the stuff inside was perfectly fine. They could've saved them and given them to teachers who spend their own money on school supplies. It made me so mad because they lock the trash dumpsters so no one can take anything. Same thing with Macy's; they throw out those free gifts you get when you buy cologne or makeup.
