Nice video, good to see you back at it. Luminar looks pretty darn neat.

I've been following your channel for some time now, and must say that the thing that interests me most about your videos is how you talk about the "soul" of things more than their technical aspects. Many channels do the latter; and in an age of AI generated everything, what you have is going to be most important. And regarding your blockage - please do not rush into making videos and instead focus on what you do best. Get out there and capture your world. The videos will then make themselves. You are an amazing artist. More power to you Ulysses.

Man, what a great example of intentionality in creative direction while using an auto tool. I really like the Pro 400 H vibe you were going for. I've definetly noticed that Fuji is made for Asian skin, because it makes white people like me look like pork. 😂

Oke this seems like a really good piece of software.

I know its not the topic of the video... but hows using that SL2-S? The 'before' photos looked pretty incredible if they were straight out of camera.
@UlyssesAokiPhoto Жыл бұрын
Straight out of the camera! That's good to know. I think it's partly because it's DNG not RAW- as in, it has a bit more contrast dialed into it at default (I think)

@@UlyssesAokiPhoto Thats amazing - I read my comment back and I sound like a GASSY Nerd obsessed with cameras (partially true). I also want to convey that the magic is also from your skill as a photographer. Incredible photos dude!

Damn, this looks like it's brought back the fun in editing! I might get this. How do you compare this to lightroom?

Hi there! I watched your terrific video featuring Dehancer yesterday. So how would you compare it to Luminar (or are use cases different?). Are you still using Lightroom for editing? Cheers!

you should make a loooonog "sitting around" video : )

This is just lightroom for people who don't want to learn lightroom...

I tried it but dont like it so far. I feel it does some things which are random for me and I am not in my control, not speaking about my vision. Its like full of "surprise me" buttons :-) But I will still give it a chance.

I've met people who think Lightroom is "creepy"/cheating. To each their own.
@robvalencia21 Жыл бұрын
I think this is the exact same as using Lightroom (ethically). The only difference I see in this video is not having to create a mask or some sort of object selection before you make an adjustment. People do make these same types of adjustments, and more, to their photos everyday in Lightroom. Is that creepy too? Please disregard this if you are an analog only photographer

In the near future. I'm sure our work would cost more when sold than photos made with AI.
