What if there was krangled tree event but you get to reroll your tree with currency and also have a hogh toer currency to reroll single nodes, but the chance to roll a specific node depends on the distance to the original tree. And small passives correlate to the mastery and notable

I completely understand for racers and people who just want a chance at MTX, and love the community coming together on the skill tree stuff. That being said, everyone having the same tree and pooling the resources from it really kinda seems to take the spirit out of the event doesn't it?

You don’t have to play it that way though. You can literally just pick your build and hope it doesn’t scuff out because you went left instead of right.

you're right there is an obvious issue that make this event not playble the way it was intended: Regret orb .... I didn't drop a single one from lvl 1 to 50 as most of us so that being said the event is no longer about discovering a random tree and build arround, it's just gamble. So yeah that's the 2 option: 1 gamble / 2 use community knowledge as a "cheatcode" to bypass the fact you are not supposed to know the tree. Next time i hope they give us more way to change the tree

​@daftheck1439 I quit because I went a bad route and my character felt bricked. Never played it tho so you probably have to adapt to what you find or use the community resource. They should probably give infinite respecs or upgrade the refund pts provided by regrets to offset how shitty it kinda feels to constantly allocate points that are literally worthless to your character. Stat requirements were annoying early for me too so I just said screw this event I'll hit the next one

i started at templar and holy shit my start was just like this, rofl, i managed to play blind to level 70 and t1 maps, blind on passives and ascendancies. found doedre's tenure and 2 large spell damage clusters, those hard carried me lol.

this game mode showed exactly why GGG needs to make early leveling easier to respec. If your game is all about min maxing through trial and error, at least let new players learn to trial before end game.

They could have atleast experimented with something like that in this kind of event. more regrets, more respec points from quests, option for a full reset before epilogue. literally anything would have been better

@@SoulxWeaver I think a reset after 1st lab if under say lvl 40 is appropriate. It prevents cheese and allows you to fix a bad tree if you fucked up early

The Brief D4 statement before the video. Yes I think its SOO casual aimed. but thats okay. For me, I wanted to play some aRPG recently, I picked D4 because its so much more casual accesible because I only have limited time

There is nothing wrong about it. Steel's statement was just a little over the top. PoE is an amazing game, but it requires a lot of time. Give Last Epoch a try, much easier than PoE and more appealing than D4 imo.

It's not an issue that you prefer something more casual. However, I'd heavily recommend last epoch. For half the price right now, you get a similar floor of complexity to D4, except the game is much better and can scale in complexity once you're ready. Also, now that you've paid $60 for D4, just be prepared to pay another $60 for the expansion. P.S. the guy above said LE is much easier than PoE, yet LE's passive trees for skills are still about 3 times the size of little passive stumps in D4 😉
