Good stuff brother! The home with all the stuff on the driveway ... Been there. Unfortunately I was injured . Lost my job. Wife had to be my caregiver and we had no income for about a year and half. Landlord was gracious enough to help us for six months then got weird on us and filed for eviction. SSDI was not coming in we didn't have squat. Had to stand in lines with wife to get food. Really a hard time in my life. So the point is never take anything for granted. Appreciate everything God gives you and please be humble. It can happen to anyone at the drop of a pin. God Bless

As someone who has been evicted before seeing piles like this breaks my heart those are someone's belongings on the curb it just shows you how one mistake can cause you to loose everything. It really ticks me off stores cut clothes and then dump them this is why I try and avoid buying things at big box stores and buy things from thrift stores instead. My mother used to work at Cato and they were trained to cut clothes and other objects that were rejected due to returns or unsellable. We truly live in a wasteful society.

Even Thrift Stores out here in Cali are getting expensive now. And speaking of belongings of evicted, our Landlord asked if we can assist in cleaning out one of many of his Rentals. Here I thought I was going to clean. Nope, he literally scooped up stuff and hauled away to dump and on the curb. The Renter came back and spoke with landlord. I felt so bad that I even offered to take some of his personal items and meet up somewhere to give to him

It is truly MY honor and to meet these veterans who are still here and they never skip a beat. My ESC dog goes almost all the time and she is a great conversational starter. But my best trip was just before Covid and our flights were canceled, a 90yr. Old Army Air Forces gunner told us " That trip changed my life today " I cried, and so did he. I have learned a few months ago that he passed and now rests in peace. 🙏🙏 🇺🇸

In my neighborhood you can find items to decorate your whole apartment on the curve. The peoples put all types of good items on the curbside. Goodwill refuse to come pick up certain things so they just put them on the curve some time with a sign that says that it's works. The best time to go searching is Sunday evening, because the trash man come on Monday morning.

My Uncle Frank was the local junk man in our town. It was no easy job that's for sure, I went with him a couple of times when I was a kid so I know first hand. Some people snubbed their nose at him like they were better than he was just because he was a junk man but he raised six kids doing it and put them through college or trade school after high school graduation! My great grandmother said people who do your kind of work were the salt of the earth.
