The whole hand tranplant is wilder to me than the face .. like whole new fingers that's crazy to think about it. His fingers were gone so imagine someone getting your fingers from someone elses hands thats wild to me the face is the skin but hands are the whole fingers not just like a glove but actually the whole fingers and stuff ..

@@darien8080 let's be honest, cosmetic surgery needs to improve to cater for these unfortunate individuals. What they've given him is not nice ... Surgeons need to ask themselves what more can they do . It's harsh questions but unless asked then that's the best they can do and that's not on

The donor is from a cadaver ( a deceased donor ) incredibley alturistic donation from the deceased person & from the family who has lost a loved one.

What? They did a terrific job actually. The donor face isn’t a slim face, over the years the swelling comes down very slowly. And he can have surgeries later should he want them but I’d say he looks fine.

People look like that after normal face lifts for weeks and their faces have their own blood supply. This guy had a completely foreign piece of tissue being transplanted so there was no normal blood supply that’s why it will take years for the swelling to go down and then plastic surgeons can consider doing a cosmetic surgery on him but only if the face develops normal blood supply which is crucial
