Something similar happened to me several decades ago. I tapped into the rage and anger using it to propel me to an Ivy league college and Ivy league graduate school. She told everyone you couldn't satisfy her to soothe her concious, cheaters constantly assign negative traits to the person they cheated on to justify their cheating this can include: small peepee, abusive, emotionally neglectful. It doesn't have to be based on the truth, because it rarely is. The sole purpose of her doing this is purely because of her deflecting from her own insecurities and screw ups.

As an Indian, we have strong family bonds and marriage actually means something here apart from a contract. Cheating is either very hush and people somehow never get caught or deal with it silently, cause in the 23 years of my life, I have never seen or heard even a single occurrence of "Married Cheating". I don't even know a single person whose parents are divorced. NOT ONE. I see these posts mostly depicting life in the west and I feel that the grass isn't always green on the other side.

This story is funny, because at the same time it seems obvious. “OP tells his aunt and she destroys the girl's life”, technically it can also be a great way to destroy OP's aunt's career, since it's not right for the evaluator's nephew to influence her decision to whether or not accept the ex's application. In real life, not all revenge ends well, always remember that.
