Yes!!! I love that. I hope they've added that to other ships. Not sure if my August cruise will even happen now and we're really stressed about it (many of us are not working now). But, just a reminder to me that Disney takes care of us and I think we'll be okay!

Ashley, it's called the Promenade Deck! It's where you can lounge in the deck chairs and connect with the sea or walk off a meal or jog laps on the fully wrap-around promenade. That is one of my favorite features onboard a Disney cruise ship. Traditionally, the Promenade Deck has been a feature on classically designed cruise ships for well over a century. It also serves the purpose of accessing the lifeboats. Unfortunately, most newer ships have eliminated these classic features. On MSC (I think it was the Divina), you aren't even allowed to go out on that deck except for emergency! And sadly, the fully wrap-around Promenade Deck will not be on the forthcoming Triton-class ships ie Disney Wish. On Cunard's Queen Mary 2, the deck chairs are right by the railings instead of being set back by the bulkhead like on DCL. That's probably the nicest Promenade Deck at sea but the QM2 doesn't have Goofy playing shuffle board in his tracksuit or asleep on the deck chairs, or Sassy Daisy sashaying or a group of storm troopers marching!

I think I’ve watched all of your videos in the past week😂 We are looking to book our first Disney Cruise. Been on carnival and RC several times. Narrowed it down to 3 cruises. All 5 nights, all going to Castaway and Cozumel. 1. September 29. Halloween on Fantasy. 2. November 8. Christmas on Dream. 3. November 28. Christmas on Magic. Which would you suggest for a first time DCL cruiser?

I prefer Christmas decor to Halloween decor, but it will be colder at castaway in December. Not freezing, you could still swim, but it is one of those cases where once you get in the water you want to stay in the water. My favorite ship is the Dream. But, all of them are wonderful in their own way. I might suggest looking at the night time shows that will be showing on each sailing.. maybe you prefer beauty and the beast over rapunzel? Also, maybe take a look at the menus in the dining rooms?
