When inflation expectation expectations go down, the stock market will crash again. The stock market is very sensitive to certain interest rates/yields. There is unwarranted high inflation expectations right now. In the midst of debt defaults and evictions, deflation is actually what’s going to occur. When investors realize that, spreads will widen and the prime rate and 30 year mortgage rate will go up and price of gold will go down and the Dow will crash.

Something I really like about Ally's savings accounts is that each can have up to 10 "buckets". Suppose you have 5 sinking funds you're actively building. With a lot of other banks you would need to make 5 transfers to 5 separate savings accounts to contribute to each of your sinking funds. With Ally, you only need to make 1 transfer into 1 savings account, then divide the money between 5 buckets within that account.

Why haven’t you ever mentioned Bethpage FCU? They have almost 4% APY on savings accounts under $1,000. So I just keep $999.99 in it and collect $9.81-ish every quarter. Then I wire the $9.81 to my checking account to keep my savings under $1,000. Easy 38-40 dollars per year

The T-Mobile bank account, mentioned at the end of the video, provides 4% interest rate for the first $3,000 for customers. Otherwise they give 1%

@@bigshoe84 really anywhere. Fidelity, Vanguard, Robinhood, TD Ameritrade, webull, etc. If you're going to set one up, check to see if you can find a referral code to use when signing up. Often gets you a free stock or bonus on the newer platforms.
