Great skis I have three of them!! Replace the choke with a primer starts 1st time and saves the starter over working.

NICE man! that sounds ace...question is how much? I bet in the states it was something stupid like $1000, I always see you guys getting skis at much lower prices as there seems to be loads more available vs the UK....enjoy dude... great find

I would have ran a water test or a compression test if that checks out make a offer. I have been burned in the past on 97 wave venture 760 that ran perfect on the hose but after I put it on a load it had a dead cycle. Lesson learned.

If a clean one came up then yeh definitely…I went for the blaster 2 as me and the misses can jump on it…(try anyway 😂) There are so little clean ones around in the uk, this is the first I have seen in 2 years that’s clean enough to sit 2k in… Thanks for watching dude 🙏

@@classicjetskis hey your welcome. Love the videos of the classics. The new ones are just as cool to ride in my opinion. My b1 is not stock anymore but it was ruff when I acquired the hull only. She is pretty now and always get compliments on it haha. You rarely find them that clean in the US as well. A friend just bought a b2 just like yours for 400 amd it runs good but the hull is ruff has alot of bad rigged up stuff on it that made me laugh and cry at the same time lol. You have a good one. 👍

@@jeffbryner5355 Glad you like the vids dude...To be fair if a ski is in bad shape then I'm not against then introducing aftermarket....its more if a ski is pristine OEM then I try maintain it. At some stage I will flip the script and get a beat up example and then go to town with modding but mostly my love is pure original...Its not just the US dude, there really isn't that many in the UK, its just the fact of getting lucky...Gary had this ski up for sale twice before this, each time backing out but finally let it go...which I'm obviously buzzing about. Re new skis, at some stage I will likely introduce something newer to bench mark the old skis against to settle some scores ...thanks again for watching.

@@classicjetskis yesh if my blaster wasn't faded and looked Ike it set outside on a boat slip it's whole life I wouldn't of painted. I love your love for the old skis and you keep them original. Keep up the good and don't let them go to someone who will destroy them. Have a great week my friend

I was given a 1988 650SX and a 1996 WB2 for free and have been restoring both to ride. Loads of abandoned skis here where I live in Japan. Not an easy task finding the original trim parts, but the WB passed its inspection recently so looking forward to getting it in the water. Wish it looked like this one. Did you mention the original stickers are available? BTW mine smokes a lot, too, with the original injection system in place.
@classicjetskis2 жыл бұрын
Hi dude, so sorry for the slow reply only just saw your comment...that's epic that you got given two skis...lucky man! Yes the parts are super hard to find hence why I'm always so on it with inspecting skis, as I know how hard it is to get it back to OEM. The decals are tricky...there are some places that offer OEM replica but alot of the time the colour match is poor/sizing is wrong...so I normally re-vectorise/redraw and then work with a local decal printer to get it right vs spending 100s online and getting disappointed once they arrive (been there). Yes mine is only smoky when its sat for a week or two, then it calms down. Thanks for watching and supporting dude 👍👍

Man this is epic… are you saying this actual blaster was yours or this model in general? If it was the actual one then man I got to make a video with you/your dad that would be so cool to see the Orginal owner seeing it again… also if you do have the Orginal trim and grips please can you send them to me as its got the incorrect grips on… you could also clarify the story about why the trim was removed… thanks for watching dude 🙏

Is it a Primer or a Choke?
@classicjetskis2 жыл бұрын
It's a choke from the factory, some switch out for a primer kit to remove concern of choke getting stuck!
