Hey sorry about your bad luck. I have a 2018 29H as well. Where are you with the claim with thor on this? i actually have some concerns on mine and am a few weeks from an appointment with Camping World on someting and wanted to get an idea of how hard you have to push with them. I had a issue with my slide allowing light in along the kitchen sink side on the bottome when extended that took a few months to have them have CW install more rubber flap on the bottome of the cabinet that really should have been there from the begining.

Thanks! So the camper spent a total of about 6 months of its first year in the CW parking lot while they "repaired" the leak and water damage multiple times, along with a collection of other problems. The RV was still leaking after the warranty expired, which was super frustrating since it spent half the warranty in their parking lot! However, CW offered to try repairing things again, to be nice, and I said, at this point there is so much water damage that a new RV would be more cost-effective than repair, so they put me in touch with Thor directly and started that claim. It took some convincing to prove that the leak had been there since Day 1, but I had enough photos And work orders that they were able to continue as a warranty claim, even though my warranty expired. Thor has agreed to do a total rebuild of the cab-over area and are picking up the camper in about a month. However, I was concerned that, if the leak was somewhere else on the roof, the leak could come back and start this whole mess over after the rebuild, so I have been inspecting, testing, and re-sealing things like crazy to see if I can get the water to stop before they repair it... Which I believe I finally did, by taking off all the corner molding, adding Dicor seal-tite corner seal on the corner, clear caulking inside the molding, caulking over every screw, and Dicor over the entire top section of molding... It's overkill, for sure, but I haven't seen any water since! After the rebuild, I plan to check/reseal everything myself with more seal-tite. They appear to have only used 1-inch wide tape for the corners, which wasn't wide enough for some of the gaps, so they just left gaps! I upgraded to 1.5 inch, which I highly recommend because it is the prefect size for that molding.

Make sure you take photos of every issue you find, and it helps to email those photos to CW or Thor so you can always reference back to that email date if you are still having the issue after the warranty expires! Or post things to youtube/instagram/Twitter so there is a third - party timestamp on it that can't be faked

Yes i sent photos to both CW and Thor when i was wanting my slide problem addressed. Strangely I have no complaints with my CW. I have had very good service writers to work with. They take my concerns to their managers who call Thor.

daver35 that's awesome to hear! I'm not sure if the majority of our frustrations were coming from CW not doing things right or Thor just not approving/recommending the correct fixes, but one of their "repairs" of water damage was to put a new sheet of luan over all the molded and rotted one to hide it... That sort of stuff was frustrating
