"The bottom of that piston" as we are looking at the piston top...
@DLHFarms6 ай бұрын
Yes but we’re looking at the bottom of the top side

That cylinder was thirsty lol. Be a good time to update the injectors while your at it. Double check the computer/ relays also. I had a computer go bad and it just told an injector to give it all it had and it flooded the block. At least it cleaned the block for me lol.

I just put new ones in it about 5k miles ago

@@DLHFarms Oh man. Was it smoking when running? White or dark?
@DLHFarms6 ай бұрын
Only smoked when cold light blue. Had a little skip and knock to it idling and a peck or ticking noise when going down hill holding back. Ran like a scalded dog though. Plenty of power.

@DLHFarms I'm glad you found the issue and the piston didn't break up. Gonna run like a new truck when you get fixed up.

That sucks👍🏻

Got mighty hot to do that

The coolant has never been hot. I think it was caused by a bad injector.

I had an injector go and washed the cylinder and lost compression worn out all the cross hatch. I just ball honed mine and put new rings and been running it since. But I got it in time and the bore was barely out of spec. It's a farm truck so we ran it 😂 👌 .
