Imagine this: Same plot but with three dudes that genuinely mean well. They make the same bet, but they meant for someone specific to overhear. Their goal isn't to make the person fall head-over-heels for them, but rather to see how someone would react to a situation like this. Each must try to convince by whatever means necessary to the person that has no ill intentions and the last person to bail out of the "romance" gets it all! It'd be a massive investment for all involved, but it'd ultimately be harmless as long as you don't make the person pay for anything!
