You should go a week without any products and show the same process so you’ll know exactly how much is actually product buildup vs natural scalp/hair shedding. I’ve had dandruff as long as I can remember as a kid. Even back in grade school in like 7th grade my teacher left the room and my friend dared me to go shake out my head on the teachers desk all over his paperwork. I did and when the teacher came back he started inspecting the papers looking all confused. Her and I were trying so hard not to laugh. He brushed it off and went back to what he was doing. I shampoo my hair 2 to 3 times a week. I used to shampoo daily, but it would get so bad to were dandruff would flake off my head. Even today when I shampooed my hair I was combing and it was just flaking everywhere. Mine doesn’t clump up like that. After I comb I use a shea butter daily moisturizer. It helps with dry scalp.

You need to try Shampooing & Conditioning atleast 3 times per week if you are in the habit of using leave in products in your hair. There shouldnt have been so much build up in hair that is as short as that.

Your hair will smell like vinegar for a min, but it goes out. Apple Cider vinegar is good for so many things. Check it out on youtube. You just can't use it one time and look for results. It to also makes your hair grow fast but it controls dandruff and lots of other stuff. get some conditioner to kill the smell and keep your hair soft I think its call frutize or fruitise look that up to the conditioner

Thats because people with dreads don't wash their scalp regularly that's one of the things you may deal with when growing dreads unfortunately. maybe try growing then again but spray your hair with lice spray or water in a spray bottle to cleanse your scalp

Lice is common for babies very common for kids common for ages 13-about 40 and then rare after that. My family is dealing with head lice right now and man do i hate it, anyway were treating it tomorrow but what im trying to say is, there are more than 3 million reported head lice cases (in the US alone) so you will most likely get it a few times in your life time.

You do more haram than good, hair shouldn’t be washed daily because it weakens the roots and gets ride of natural oils that your hair desperately needs to grow. Comb and oil ur hair daily but wash it 4-6 days.
