I always saw these concentrates and extractions as super unnecessary. It'll just make people become entirely reliant on running on 80+% thc that they get CHS and withdrawals like a fiend after just hours of no thc. Something about this just seems like molestation of the plant, maybe even a burning out of our cannabinoid receptors too. Not to mention sometimes there's additives like Vitamin E acetate, Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerine along in concentrated vape carts.

Interesting perspective that I can’t argue against. But it’s all for money at the end of the day
I only use them occasionally at work and still drastically affects my tolerance. Being in Kentucky I'm always worried about what's in them regardless if it's from the gas station or "legit" illegal carts from out of state that may be fake or even dangerous. Makes me look forward to better standards once we implicate medical weed here.

"Some of the most celebrated extract" Yah no. It's distillate. Maybe celebrated among teenagers, but just cause its solventless doesn't mean it functionally isn't the same as a gas station vape cart. Also, there's only two workers in this video and both of them go entirely against each other. One of them claims they've separated terpenes altogether, and the one pressing it claims the liquid nitrogen method of washing will "not remove the terpenes" in comparison to regular ice washing as if regular ice washing will be a terpene remover. So one of them brags their stupid method loses the least amount of terpenes, and the one who shows the final product claims there are no terpenes whatsoever. What a fucking joke LMAO

@@HyrimBot "My job is to freeze weed and throw it in liquid nitrogen to superfreeze it. All to make the elusive clear concentrate." right in the description. There is no closed loop system here making distillate. They're taking WPFF material and using the extremely low temps of liquid nitrogen to cause trichome head separation, vs the traditional paddling/washing with just regular ice, and then pressing the resulting material. Either that, or the editors and the people who wrote and filmed have absolutely no idea the continuity of what they've filmed and missed the entire process of making distillate via closed loop and mentioning it'd be separate from traditional solventless extraction. Either way, this video is not a good look.
