What types of hoses did you use for your dust collection on your Dewalt planner, diameter and sizes please. You did a great job on building it.
@WiscoWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I purchased everything from Rockler in their dust collection section- two 4" diameter 90 degree elbows, and two 4" diameter dust couplings. The piping and couplings are made of hard plastic and are durable. You will need one coupling to connect the planer dust port to the 1st elbow, and the other coupling to connect the 1st and 2nd elbows together.

I did not know what a noodle board was as well. 🤪🤪🤪 I would've liked to have seen what you would have done for a conventional stove top. Kind of a big thing I would have thought as most range tops are that way. Thanks for posting!

What type of wood (material) did you use (or recommend) for this type of work? Thank you.
@WiscoWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
All materials used were construction pine lumber from the local big box store - 2x4s and 2x6s.

Where are the plans for your mitre saw work stand
@WiscoWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
I got the plans from the channel Fix This Build That. Brad has a great tutorial on how to build as well! Game changer for a mobile miter saw station. I'll link in the description.

What kind of clamps are you using?
@WiscoWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
I am using a combination of Bessey clamps, 6 and 12 inch. You can usually find them at a local home depot if you have one close to you, or you can order them online. Thanks for watching!

Hi could you help me please? I made one of these and it didn't lie flat, I'm looking into a table top jointer but I noticed a planer, do I need both or will the jointer make the boards lay flat? Short on funds so was looking at the table top jointer Thank you!!

@smeg8557 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3-7Xn6ClqaNpposi=Ko6-HNXmplWKi0hx This may help-around 3:00 into the video he gives a tip regarding joining edges, important because your saw blade may not be exactly squared. Also, when you clamp try not to clamp with a lot of force, and alternate the clamp bars on top and bottom of the work piece, this will help evenly distribute the clamping pressure so that it doesn't turn into a smile.

How heavy is it?
@WiscoWorkshopАй бұрын
Not heavy at all, maybe 5 or 10 lbs. Made from pine.
