This was so fun, Rachel. I loved getting to hang out with you, all the way out there in Riyadh. You gave a fantastic speech. My favorite part was your father's advice to you: "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard." That literally explains why the Cowboys lost all those games they shouldn't have. "Also, you're beautiful no matter what country you're in.

Also, as I am dense, I have been watching the "12 days of RADMAS" even though I never really understood that that meant, thinking as an older person that maybe it was a saying or trend or fad I was too old for. Then I saw your monogrammed bag in one of the shots and it all clicked. Very clever, RAD, now that I figured it out.

Not disrespectful to anyone, but aren't you required to wear a head scarf, in Saudi Arabia?
@aldeweesh2 күн бұрын
No. I am from Saudi
@ducnguyen-qv7sw2 күн бұрын
@aldeweesh , it seem Saudi Arabia is liberal Islamic country, because most Islamic countries required women wear scarf to cover their head and face.

There is so much sports washing by Saudi Arabia (SA). SA is problematic given the lack of democracy, the status and treatment of women (still a problem), the treatment of expatriate workers from poor countries and last but not least the treatment of even mild opponents (e.g. the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi). The video is interesting but there is no context. Perhaps it is me - I just find Saudi Arabia profoundly disturbing.
@riffline17693 күн бұрын
I appreciate you and your work a lot. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and insight. And I am glad that you had this opportunity. But 'woman journalist parties in country that murders journalists and viciously crushes women' . . . I have a hard time squaring that with the other work you do. Perhaps you might do a video about the aggressive and very expensive marketing (especially around sports) that the Saudis do to get people to ignore those issues, or the long history of the struggles of women athletes there, at least.

So?

First of all, it’s one journalist who got killed second don’t act like you care because you don’t and your gibberish about sports just say it you are jealous, aren’t you😏
