The siesmic toss parental bond would've been very good cuz it'd deal 100HP damage consistently and since most babies will have 120-150 HP it'd 2 shot most things Along with happiny's bulk it'd be pretty broken

yknow that happini woulda been a great choice for imposter, its HP stat is huge (only surpassed by muchlax, but cause it's shiny that would defeat the whole "custom move" thing it has) meaning its naturally going to be tankier then whatever its impostoring and since its a prevo, Eviolite works on it (even if it was transformed into a fully evolved mon, though that tidbit isnt relevant here)

Tobin would’ve one if he went for power up punch instead of shift gear. I genuinely have no idea why he didn’t go for the damaging boost move since he would’ve gotten plus two either way. There was no reason to take the risk of bullet punch not one hitting with reflect up.

okay but here me out: The weaker starter pokemon you choose the more perks you can give it. The stronger the BST the more limitations. For example: Pichu can choose any ability and get a custom move. Choose a dialga and you get a completely random ability including bad ones. Choose like an infernape and you get to choose an ability from the same type as it.
