I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

Idea for Then We Fight: You have 3000 Points to spend in BST. You randomly select 6 pokemon as usual, and you can spend your BST however you want across all your pokemon. You can make an absolute monster with 255 in attack and speed and nothing else, or you can spend it all in defences and HP and run toxic stall bulky sets. You could make one pokemon with maxed out stats with 1530 with 255 BST in all stats, but then that only leaves 1500 to build the rest of your team. Could lead to some very interesting builds of glass cannons, bulky monsters, support mons etc.

56:35 when you click dragon dance again, you are still guaranteed slower. You had already used dragon dance, so you are 3/2 speed (1.5x), so using another dragon dance puts you to 4/2 (2x) speed since each additional dragon dance is additive instead of multiplicative. So this 2nd dragon dance in effect is only an additional 1/3 speed buff from 1.5 to 2, but Patterz's choice scarf is a true multiplicative 1.5x speed buff, so while your gyarados is 2x speed, Patterz's Gyarados is 1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25x speed. Thus even after your 2nd dragon dance, you are guaranteed slower.

@PewpewPew-q6g Usually. But he goes out of his way to say that, when they are, and it's usually only on his videos since he knows they'll be seeing them. I don't think so here. He used two other Mistborn names (Vin and Kelsier), which is a series he loves, and the others are also references to other series he likes. And they fit the Pokémon being named. Same with the Blissey name. Usually, when members name the Pokémon, they submit names, not knowing who is being named. It would be a WILD coincidence for someone to send in the name Dopple on a doppelganger Pokémon.

So I could be wrong but I’m 90% sure the gyarados didn’t speed tie, because Dylan was at +2, where pat was at +1 with a scarf which is essentially x2.25 speed for pat, out-speeding Dylan’s x2. This is because I believe stat boosts basically raise your stats by 50% of the original stat each stage, and the scarf actually multiplies your speed x1.5

Video idea: both people turn around and see their starters. One person then bets the other that they have a higher of a combined specific stat. Exp: person bets they have higher attack from all 3 starters combined. If the one who bets wins, they get to choose their mon and select the opponents mon from their starters. If the one who is bet against wins, same situation, but they get a buff like selected ability, illegal move, etc. Each stat can only be bet once. I’m sure this could be refined but that’s the general idea

so fun fact about the gyarados vs blissey speed tie, it wasnt actually a speed tie, bc choice scarf isn't a stat boost stage it works indepently of it and with stat stage boosts, they arent the same as 1.5 boost each time, when u go to plus 1 speed ur speed is 1.5x and if u go to plus 2 speed, ur speed is 2x whereas choice scarf isnt a stat stage boost, so he would have to plus 1 speed from the d dance copy at 1.5x and then have a 1.5x additional boost from choice scarf to make it 2.25x speed bc it's 2 independent speed boosts that times off of each other, not 2 stage stage boosts which is 2 times boost (i rly hope i explained this well, it's a bit confusing) but obviously u dont think of that in the battle so i dont blame dylan for not knowing this, anyways it was a rly fun battle and i hope this very niece bit of info comes into a battle in the future

New idea Randomized legendaries. combined with randomized horrible abilities pokemon. You choose a legendary from 3 choises. Then the opponent gets to choose from 3 pokemon that have horrible abilities (truant, defeatist). You don't have to reveal the legendary. the opponent reveals the ability. These two will be combined. So on your team you have a legendary with a horrible ability. Then the players switch untill you have a team of 6. For the fun part you can give your legendary two or one illigal move

Idea for a fight- randomize every pokemon in the roaming areas to have either disguise or illusion as an ability. If they have disguise then your catch gets nerfed, if they have illusion they get a buff. Have fun catching a masquerain that looks like zekrom🤓💀
