This is such a great video! I always wanted to do an analysis about the way The 1975 uses their image but now Matty did it for me. idk where to begin, i think the "image" or brand of the band started as a very ironic thing but then it grew organically to a precise curated aesthetic, im saying so many words lmao my favourite has to be ilwys bc as matty mentions it's very reflective of the time (2016) and the 1975 as a band, as an aesthetic continues to be, the campaign/promo for abiior was top notch in my opinion and i see they're doing something similar for notes, i can't wait to see what these guys got in store for us

In Sanguine Paradise Uzi says, “in reality I’m 5’4 stand on my money now I’m 6’6” Now knowing that the U.S Bill is .0043 inches thick we have the equation Y x .0044=14 inches (6’6-5’4=14 inches) To solve we divide both sides by .0043 and get approximately 3,256. Now to actually be able to stand on the money he would have needed 2 stacks of cash, so we are up to 6,512. This means Uzi was standing on approximately 6,512 U.S Bills. Now you may be wondering what dollar amount the bills are, but going back to the song Uzi states, “I just made 100k, it was quicker than a Vine.” Which means he makes money very easily, so we can just assume he’s using 100$ bills. So the equation is now 100 x 6,512=651,200. In conclusion this meant that Uzi was most likely standing on 651,200 dollars to go from 5’4 to 6’6.
