Matty Healy’s commentary on his music videos reveal an artist true to his craft, who has something to say that is worthy of being heard. His artistic discernment, his depth and breadth of knowledge, his passion for the medium are all quite remarkable, as is his aesthetic sensibility. Although he has every right to be proud of his accomplishments, his multiple references and homages to those who came before, suggests a humility that is rare amongst filmmakers, and most admirable. At the age of 74, there are not too many people I’d like to sit down with for a long conversation. He is one.

If i recall the 1975 from debut to this the latest album BFIAFL 2022 u can see the changes of the band from teenage rebel to grown up matured band. Their evolution really based on their ages. they not afraid to do different styles maybe the reason they are still relevant.
