I'm fortunate to possess the Nautilus Supercut Audiophile vinyl LP pressing of "Worlds Away" (is it really 43 years ago!!) and when it gets to this track the volume gets turned way up!! The Best Cut from a Superb album.! This performance (what year?) surpasses the recording - as live performances generally do! Superb in every way! What a pity Pablo couldn't make it 'cos he was at the bottom of the pool!

Grew up in the Bay Area but never saw them back in the day. Finally got to see them in 2010 next to the Columbia River on a warm summer evening. I've been going to concerts since the early 70's but can't remember a better show. During this song they had everyone dancing in a conga line. The musicianship was top notch.

Fantastic energy and joyfulness. Cruz is a wizard on guitar, but I really enjoyed the keyboard player as much as anything.
@jerryg35245 жыл бұрын
Guitar artist is not Pablo Cruz, nobody in this phenomenal band is Pablo Cruz, ha,ha! Guitarist is David Jenkins. The incredible keyboard genius is Cory Lerios, who in the band is closest to Latin. To think that a song that's so full of Brazilian carnival joy of living was written by an Aussie lol. The world has moved on but I don't think there's another like PC today

An eclectic mix of pop, disco, rock, fusion, these guys are just amazing. Wrote some great songs as we’ll. They make music exciting. The drum solo is pure fun and talent. The comparison to Toto someone makes here is not off the mark. Miss Bud Cockrell (RIP). Larry Antonio bass and vocals, phenomenal and the piano and guitar work.ONG.

Even better live than the old studio recording from soooo long agoooo.... amazing groove and musicainship, clean, precise, and lively. Very very few bands from so long ago still can get even close to their former level of craft. Joe Jackson and Tower of Power come to mind. True musicians willing to put out the blood sweat and tears it takes to be exceptional.

Still kickin' ass! Saw them recently with Dennis DeYoung of Styx(Another Favorite!) What a show! As far as musicianship goes, with the possible exception of Toto, there's probably not another band more underrated or overlooked! They are phenomenal! Steve really kicked it out on this one! And Cory, well there's only one Cory! Went with two other friends (all of us musicians) and we were blown away! I implore you to go see them if they're in town and checkout ALL of their albums!!!
@TheGriffmanster8 жыл бұрын
+gremmiehodad I had the pleasure of working with Dennis DeYoung's parents and they invited my Wife and myself to go to a Holiday Inn to see him play individually before (probably without) Styx. We had a great night and when he "hit" it, we weren't surprised.
