Alex describing the passion that started from the first time letting out a clutch was exactly how it was for me. I had driven my dad's auto Toyota pickups on his property several times around 11 years old. But the first time I chose how fast accelerate, I chose when to shift. The feeling of letting off the gas even is so different in a manual it was all those things you "feel" that got me hooked.

The car that I first learn to drive was a 1977 midnight blue caddy New Yorker 4 door 400 under the hood. I was maybe 4’8”. Learned to drive in winter on black ice I was 12 years old at the time back in 1982 my step dad taught me to drive. He was a professional driver a truck driver. Lots of love from Canada

Alex you ROCK 🪨 buddy. You bring back the good old days of how you started your car journey and now into one of the best custom shop in the USA and maybe even world wide. Cool to see pictures of Hot Import Nights I also remember going to those events it brings back the old heritage of what car technology is now. I just wanted to say that this story really made shed a tear of the good old days but you've brought back some memories for me too. I thank you for that and say that I've got full respect for you and just keep up the success you do. Again Alex you ROCK 🪨

That’s awesome. I learned to drive a 67 Wildcat as the first car I ever drove. I was 6 years old. Fast forward until I was 22…. I bought a 67 Wildcat with a 502 for 8 grand. The interior and paint was terrible. I did all of the work myself at 22 years old. That was one of my most amazing cars. The only one scarier was a 89 Honda hatchback. I won that in a poker game. He did an LS swap in that hatch with a six speed. That car was scary. I’m from Indiana and those swaps and mods are just insane out here back in the day. Almost died in that car. It was a supercharged 2nd gen LS on a 89 Honda hatch with a six speed. I was young and dumb.

LA a place known for rich kids goven everything who not only act as if their parents not only havent given them enough but are owed even more. A place where those same kids look down and joke about what people who earn what they have arent as cool cause their stuff is more expensive. Alex shows that its not the environent but the man themselves that decides their character and his appreciation while being completely humble and so proud of his family and the work it took for him to have that life makes him even more likable then he already is. It also is a testament to how incredible of a family he comes from and the ability for his parents to raise him in an environment while in a business themselves that corrupts so easily to become such a good dude. Plus as a Greek its always great to see an Armenian and their family prosper knowing how horrible certain times thru history have been to their people. Great work Alex your family ia the American dream done right.
