@@TheNICHELady Just a quickie ? please. People will pay $20 to $25 for items they can buy at dollar tree. Do they know? Or are they buying blindly. ( I'm not sure how I feel about selling, let alone buying dollar store products for anything more than $1, maybe $3 if I'm desperate on some items we buy there but they run out quickly and are hard to get. Oh my gosh, maybe because someone is selling them for 3 to 5 times more? 😱)

My mother had the same sofa. She bought it brand new in 1970. It was very comfortable to sleep on, but it was a little too close to the floor. Was hard to sit on it as I am tall. But, good for short people

I’d have it built underneath to raise it off the floor, yet still have space to clean the floor under the sofa. This would give it a taller and more comfortable aesthetic.

Once again I am not commenting on the right video! During my binge watching this.afternoon, You with Kari at a Goodwill. She was questioning a round box . Anything with straight seam on the side of the top and side are not Shaker. Shaker boxes have what they call finger seams. They look like pointy fingers on the side and the lids. I don't know too much but I do know my Shaker! A friend of mine has been leading the last active Shaker Village in Maine for over 30 years. Also , not your fault but that wonderful Irish piece is sounded out like Claw da. Yup. A lot of silent and weird letters! Thank you for the entertainment and the knowledge. I do appreciate you!

You held a little sign I thought was sweet, all my children have paws..😁 The pumpkins are really cute. And the Nemadji piece is stunning! I think it’s really important to have a family game-night regularly, with all the kids nowadays watching their mobile phone all day! The sofa was cool!😍 If it wasn’t so damn ( excuse my language) expensive to buy or send stuff from the Netherlands to the States , I would have send you things that are cheap here and expensive in the States. I work , as a volunteer , at a thrift store (they are smaller here ) and I find a lot of turtles…Danni , if I could afford it , I would send you some now and then. And other things too.🤷🏻♀️ The Limoges dish is really pretty. And ofcourse you have to like/love the things you buy…I think you are completely right with that. I immediately liked those two little round paintings too , maybe because the colors were so clear and a bit shiny…😁 It’s so funny , I am Dutch and here I am watching your video and talking to you in English!!🤣 Yes I live alone and yes I am a bit weird…🤪but my grandchildren love me for it..😂😂 And I also always look up words or names , from pottery or glass for instance…So I learn a lot of new things from KZbin.I follow quite a lot of American people , who thrift. It’s a lot better than watching television.😉👌🏻

My mom had those same type of matador & bull figurines that my dad brought her back from Spain. You know, i thought GW was increasing prices, but they aren't the only ones. I went to St Vincent dePaul yday & their prices have too! I hadn't been in a year & have noticed they aren't as reasonable. They did have their furniture 1/2 off, tho & i got an antique tube tv wooden cabinet in pretty good condition for $25 along w/ a few vintage figurines & a carnival glass cake stand for decent prices, so wasn't a wasted trip.
