Let’s not forget that at 450 million dollars (double that of the Airbus A380) no one is going to be in a rush to get these options.. and if they do.. it’s more money they have to pay.. which also means that they have to increase ticket prices to make up for that! I guess I’m trying to say it may be better as an option for Boeing’s business jet offering 😅

@chaoszombie9995 The a380 was $445 million list price which would be $675 million nowadays counting inflation. The 777x is nowhere near double the price of the a380. The 747 was $403 million which would be $610 million nowadays, the 777x is much cheaper than both of them.

I don’t really like the new technology for the windows. The flight attendants can just control the lightness of the window. They can just make it dark. Also changing the darkness needs way much more time then the normal windows when u can just close it.

Despite the issues with the 737 max-9 and general popular scepticism of the 737 max in general, the 777 has been an absolute rock in aviation. This looks like just what is needed on one of the safest, steadiest and under appreciated (in the public's eye) aeroplanes the world has ever seen.

The original 777 yes, but the new one will only show itself in time. It's not about the model, it's about the whole approach to building aircraft Boeing has been taking lately. 787 was plagued with issues when it first came out, hopefully this one will make its predecessor proud.
