Ido is better, though. It locks out from all summoning and all it needs is a trap card. Which means no normal, tribute, or special summon. Unless the player has a backrow out like droplet or dh, there's no out.

ok, so you could've banish aluber during the endphase to get branded in red, then after you got kaiju'ed let them cook until he has the shark xyz then use branded in red into chimera to disrupt the play, and since you have poly in grave chimera cant be targeted. hope this help

@@elgringo1893 It's not an acid golem specific strategy lol, that's how branded despia's turn 1 is meant to be played. His turn 1 board was far weaker than what it should have been with branded in red.

Looking at this field and hand, the only possible answer for escape was to use Spriggan Kit to add Albion the Shrouded Dragon assuming it was in your deck back then to tribute summon away Acid Golem.

i think you could ns kitt or aluber, add opening use opening to add ad lib to hand tribute the golem and 1 monster might a bit slow but thats the only out i could think off beside maining dark hole

You can do this with super deep sea king. I have a deck built around this lock. Although I like to go for barrier statue lock instead of acid golem lock

why did you take aluber again with tragedy you could easily end up with mirrorjade+branded in red on field, libitum in hand and tragedy in gy for branded in red for chimera. Even with kaiju you could end up with chimera+mirrorjade (which is 2 disruptions) on the field.
