You can literally SEE on his face how much affected him back then, and how much it still affects him to this day. He's uncomfortable even talking about it, it's awkward and makes him uneasy. I can totally relate to that, I was bullied too, and it truly is terrible. It changed me as a person for years, destroyed my confidence. The message is solid, if you're bullying people, STOP, it hurts worse than you can know. When I got out of the military I started lifting weights and trained some MMA with my friends and did some sparring. I wish I would have stuck with it more back then but I just wasn't at a spot in my life I could continue to do it. Now at the age of 39 I'm trying to learn how to box again, I don't have anyone to teach me but I've been training the best I can, and doing some sparring at the gym I train people at; it's AWSOME. The main message here is don't bully people, and if you ARE getting bullied, you need to learn how to fight and stand up for yourself. Go to a boxing gym, go learn MMA, go take some BJJ classes, anything at all like that, every man should know how to defend himself. You deserve to feel safe when you are walking around, or are in social settings, fighting will help immensely with your self confidence. :)

Actually we need to give our energy and focus to the most powerful spiritual being which is God Jesus Christ and not to karate meditation which is done through satanic spirits. God is everything, the truth in life which is in the Orthodox christianity religion btw. it is the original and true form of christianity that Jesus taught us when he came to earth, and you can feel God's grace through the holy sacraments after baptism, repentance- confession and holy communion in the orthodox christian church, something that completely changes your life and turns you into a happier person with a meaningful life and also saves you by strengthening your bond with God. I suggest you become an orthodox christian at an orthodox christian church near you, get baptised and receive the holy spirit and live a spiritual life (repentance- confession to the priest and holy communion) This is all God wants from us and through these sacraments we will be saved💯

I used to get bullied for being fat from a very young age all the way till i was 17 years old. From males and females as i got older it went from being fat to how dark my complexion is to my nationality. Thankfully i lost weight and learned how to defend myself but that part of my life has really affected my confidence in myself, i suffer from anxiety confidence and anger issues, always judging what people think of me. And im 31 years old now but bullying really affects people mentally its only at this age i realised that many of my problems are from my past, theres times i want to get revenge on the people who made my life hell but i see they moved on and changed but they dont see the affects of the bullying they did affected those who were the victims. Bullying really does change people forever.

I was bullied heavily in school for 3 years and as Tony said it can affects you for the rest of your life. I have a lot of insecurities and before that period of my life I had a lot of friends and I was a lot more extroverted. At the time I had a lot of economical problems at home too. I really don't know how I endure all of that as such a young age. Now I'm kinda a loner, I have a lot of trust issue and I feel insecure about myself all the time. I had a lot of dreams but I never had the confidence to achieve them. I want to point out that adults are not really useful, my teachers knew the situation because a lot of time I burst into tears in class, but most of them looked away or feel sorry for me and that's it. I never told anything to my parents because as I've said, at the time, we had a lot of problems at home too.

I'm sorry for your experience. I can relate. I was bullied almost every year in elementary school. Sometimes it was even by a jealous "friend". I also had family problems though I was never the target. I only remember going to the counselor about the bullying once in 4th grade. I was never the type of kid to speak up or stand up for myself, even now. And I'm not sure if the bullying would've ever stopped. The only reason it stopped was because I went to online school in 5th grade due to coronavirus. And I did go from being that extroverted kid to an introverted teen(I'll be a teen in a few months). Looking back, I kinda wish I was able to stand up for myself. Even though most of the bullying was verbal. I'm glad I found this channel. Seeing that both my older siblings were in at least one fight before, I may need this in the future.

Great clip Tony 👍 The timing of this clip could not be better - I‘m just back from a school reunion I helped to organise. While looking to contact the 200+ guys in our year we found that some of them had fallen on hard times and we decided to bring this to the attention of the group - I got to make a speech about the importance of looking out for each other in the years ahead. During the speech our year‘s bully / ar@ehole in chief tried to drown out my speech by cheering loudly, hoping everyone would join in - they didn’t and he shut up - I took a sip of water and carried on regardless. I guess some people are hopeless cases …

I took his knife and stuck it between 2 large rocks and kicked it until it broke. Kid never messed with me again.

You don't need to change who you are if you are bullied. A lot of people are saying how they changed themselves whether it's through working out, starting karate or ju jitsu, being more confident, getting a nice haircut, wearing nicer clothes. That's good but I find that it's best not to give a crap what bullies think AND do what you like. I like to think about it like this. "I want to get stronger so I can defend myself in a tough situation or be calmed enough when angry." My da taught me that the reason bullies, well, bully is because they are dealing with their own problems and are in tough situations so they take their anger out on other people. Great video man.

Especially in school, a kid who has been continuously bullied since young age will have a mindset which will perceive Society as a Threat or root cause for his problems. Thus keeping a safe and healthy environment in schools is must protocol now schools should follow.

And a tip I would give if you are being bullied and cant get it too stop. Learn Jujitsu and boxing both. Jujitsu is great if its only 1 on 1. Standing up is better if there are more then one opponent. And sorry yall are going through this stay strong yall are going to make it. GOD Bless.

Great video Tony, I hope this message gets out there to all those kids being bullied. As you said it can really ruin ones life and Boxing is such a great confidence builder and a good skill to have in your back pocket. I'm learning lots watching your boxing too. I changed schools in high school worst experience for a shy kid. Was humiliated constantly. I started learning martial arts and boxing in my late 30's wish I did it sooner. Now hoping to have my first fight at the young age of 46. My daughter has some learning difficulties, now I worry she is going to go through it. Hoping I can inspire her to take up boxing as it's a great sport/skill. Mark

I was almost bullied in the 8th grade by someone who hit puberty a year or two before me and outweighed me by a good 20lbs. He tried to intimidate me into doing something for him. I was taking martial arts classes at the time and that gave me enough confidence to say no and walk away even though he would have completely mopped the floor with me if he wanted. He moved on to an easier target never bothered me again.

@@thevengefulone3974 My friend Shumbul Touqeer gets bullied every day by Tina Dutta in a rough manner and when things go out of hands, Shalin Banot in favour of the defense his girlfriend, intimidates Sumbhul. So, what can be done to ensure her safety?

Standing up by yourself is the most confident part that you have to do. If you don't. The bulliers will try to cause more physical bully on you. As long as you can forget about the bulliers. Whatever they're trying to say. Just forget them. And always be happiness. You can be the best person ever! I also got bullied by the people just because of being quiet in school. This time, I definitely deserve better person. I don't deserve a physical bully. That's how I do to be as a student. I hope you can do the same thing.

This is such a great inspirational story! This has also got to be one of my favourite Dhar Mann collabs out there, and what makes it more entertaining is how everyone else with a speaking role imitates a British accent!

During 6th grade it somehow got out that my dad was in prison and this one kid started bullying me about it. He was from Egypt, so I called his father Osama bin Laden, he face went red and he stormed off. The next day as we were leaving band class he tapped me on the shoulder from behind, and as a I turned around he kneed me hard in the gut. I stood up, threw a light jab and followed up with a decent cross. He dropped and woke up like 20 seconds later, I never got in trouble and nobody tried to mess with me or my sister for the rest of our time in school.

Hi Tony even through this is more based to tell great story and is partially fictional, watching your actual reactions, seeing your fore head sweat bullets about what actually happens really shows how the trauma of bullying actually affected you. But the great thing is how it built who you are and with KZbin gives you that "look at me now" confidence. So great motivational clip and your add on to the film and personal recollection is beautiful.

Fantastic lessons in this video. Very similar story happened with me when I was a kid. Got picked on 'cause I looked different and weak. Dad put me through a martial arts school and everything changed. My confidence shot up, mental and physical health got better and better, and more importantly, prepared me for real life. Probably saved my life at times. Learning martial arts the right way, whether it is karate, boxing, jiu-jitsu or whatever, trains you to keep yourself away from danger and to take care of your friends and family. Now, I teach younger family members how to defend themselves and stand tall. Stay strong, stay safe. 💪👍

This should be a lesson to all those bullies out there. You are not putting someone down, you are only creating a champion feeding on fear, anger, revenge. Be carful since one day, all that energy will explode on you.

I got bullied pretty bad in 9th grade, I was 100lbs soaking wet and had two bullies (Bff’s) push me up against the lockers every day. It was a shitty experience, however I started training at The Pit learning Hawaiian Kempo, the confidence booster is great. Karma got one of my bullies, he died in a single person drunk driving accident two years after high school. Thanks for the great video Tony 🤙
