Be strong girl. I was 27 when I found out I had Endometrial cancer. My Uterus and Fallopian tubes were the first to go. I had to go through chemo same reason you had to just to make sure there was absolutely nothing left. My ovaries ended up coming out as well. I had the option to harvest my eggs but didn't have the financial means to do it. So I am no longer able to have my own kids. It was very empowering for me when I shaved my hair and didn't wait for it to fall out. It will get better. And yes, we are ALIVE!!

That's horrible. Infertility should never have to be a financial decision like that. I hope the American health insurance system will get better one day to prevent people from making such decisions. I hope you will lead a happy life and find your way.

@@JM-kz5if yeah, they're also doing tests on capseicin (I have no clue if I'm spelling that right) but I think the main problem is them figuring out how their going to use it in other parts of the body that aren't the digestive tract, or for it to stay intact long enough if it's in the digestive system. Hopefully they figure this stuff out soon

I wish you the very best in your second chance at life. I was 22 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It's been 3 years since then and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. Along with two different chemotherapies that were ineffective, I had to be in an immunotherapy clinical trial because my cancer grew back quickly (refractory cancer) and chemo wouldnt kill the cells fast enough. After that, I had to get radiation treatments in my hipbone and spine. As a safety precaution I had to get a bone marrow transplant. Essentially getting rid of my immune system and getting a new immune system from a donor to kill any cancer cells left. Before transplant I had to get more chemo and full body radiation. Fast forward to after transplant, a side effect of having a foreign immune system in a new body, they can attack the body. This happened to me. It attacked my skin, eyes, and GI tract. I ended up with huge ulcers in my stomach and intestines that bled non stop. I was losing blood faster than the doctors could put in. I ended up with IVs in both hands, my wrist, both inner elbows, my neck, and chemo port. All of them were bags of blood and platelets. Not sure what happened after that as I was in a medically induced coma for 10 days. After that was spending 90% of 2018 in the hospital. I lost over 100lbs....fast forward to today, hair is slowly growing back, I'm getting energy and strength back, started online schooling...just trying to feel normal again and finally seeing my fiance smile again. Even though I almost lost my life, I wouldn't change any bit of what I went through. It changed my life for the better. And for anyone currently dealing with cancer, Stay strong and always remember you have people rooting for your success and if you ever need someone to talk to, there are plenty of support groups that have immensely caring people that want to uplift and motivate you.

You remind me so much of friend. She was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 16. Unfortunately the doctors in my country couldn't treat her so she went to England to be treated there. She stayed in England for 1 year and in September 2018 she was told that she won the battle against leukemia, so in December the doctors told her that she can come back home and she did come home for Christmas...but then after Christmas she went to the hospital again for some last shots and tests she had to do but then the doctors found out that some of her leukemia moved to the brain and sadly a day before New Year Eve she passed away due to some blockage. I still cry every time that i think of her. She didn't deserve any of this, she was the sweetest and nicest girl I knew.. I hope she rests in peace. She will be missed

I get it. I had cancer when I was 13-14. Your body has literally betrayed you and your only means of survival is literally trying to kill you. The air thing didn’t bother me and I actually tried to make myself cry when it started falling out in the shower but couldn’t lol. I’m a better person for it, but I would definitely say it’s the worst thing that happened to me and it ruined my outlook on life. Edit: I wish I could feel the same as her right now because it’s been two years now that I’m in remission and I still can’t try and remember the days that were so bad (my mom tells me things that happened that are just completely wiped from my memory aside a few flashes) or even just talk/think about my cancer without breaking down into hysterical crying. The only way I can talk about it is with that typical unhealthy coping mechanism of humor. I need therapy or something.

titi ekunsanmi take your time to accept, understand and move on from what you went through. You were so young and still are but it has changed you for the better. I wish all the best for you but therapy is something you should ask your mother about. It will help make the memories easier to deal with. You have only one body and mind. Take care of it. ❤️

i can defintely agree with you! i got cancer when i was 19 in 2017 and when i got the news i watched every cancer movie i can find to actually feel something or i woud sit in the shower and try to really think about it and my life and i did not have a reaction to it or a feeling. it took a while for me to try to associate myself with the word cancer or survivor although i have been in remission for 1 full year but it feels odd because although it happened, it didn't feel real even if i tried to sulk in it. i wish u all the best and hope u can overcome the trauma of it without covering it with the dark humor although the dark humor of it is pretty funny, lol. sending u lots of love 💓

I'm 15 and I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 14. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma, (yes had) and I can totally relate to you on this. I didn't care about my hair that much and I actually tried to make myself cry too lmao. I can also relate on the forgetting everything about it. Chemo for some reason wipes your memory and I remember none of my treatment. Its so hard to believe that you survive something like that, I haven't even been in remission for a year yet

Everyday was tough but also a blessing, blessed to wake up and see my friends and family, blessed to see, hear, taste! Cancer took a lot away from me but it does not define who I am. I'm 23 and thriving. Never take a day for granted, always see the positive and keep smiling! My partner got cancer at 25 too. It was a true battle for her and i truly feel this video as i was that man standing beside her through the chemo, radiotherapy and multiple surgeries. We went through everything that you went through in this video just a year ago. She had a rare cancer, epithelial lymphoma carcinoma. It was a journey we went through and we came out stronger as she was declared to be in remission just last July. Best of luck in life my friend! We stand with you. With love from Malaysia.

I was the youngest patient in the cancer wing at 19 when I was battling ALCL in my liver and it was blowing the nurses minds seeing me on walks at night, I didn’t realize cancer is so often seen as like an “older” person kind of illness. I consider myself very lucky to have caught it in time to have only needed 6 rounds of chemo and I’m still in remission, but looking back now I remember just being in so much denial, angry, I pushed friends and family away...you have a much better attitude about life and everything in general during this and I wish I’d have been the same way. Granted this was almost 10yrs ago now but, yeah. So much respect for you chick. You’re a boss! ❤️❤️❤️

I feel all of this pain. I had my cancer removal surgery at 17. I was still in high school. I had to put a pause on school due to so many hospital visits. I had to quit the sport I had been doing for years. That sport was my life. I have never felt so lost. I lost all of the people that were supposedly my friends. It was such a dark period. Thankfully I am in remission and I am healthy for now. The type of tumor that I had comes with a high probability of another tumor, but we won’t know until I am at least 30. It was very rare that we found my first tumor at such a young age. It is a slow growing cancer, and it isn’t found in patients until around the age of 30. Here is to hoping there isn’t another one in my body. I’m praying that you are okay as well.

I know how you feel. I was first diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma when I was 20 and I used to have long pretty hair and I had to go through intense chemo and I lost all my hair and had all the terrible side effects. I beat cancer and went on with my life. And then this past August I had a routine pet scan they discovered my cancer had come back so we had to do an even more intense chemo and that made me feel worse than chemo I got the years before. At at this point my hair was getting pretty long again and I had perfect ringlets and was loving my hair but nope chemo made me lose it again. The doctors decided that getting a bone marrow transplant would take care the cancer permanently. I’m on my second day in the hospital (I’ll be here for 3 to 4 weeks) for the bone marrow transplant and right now I have a cute pixie cut and in another week or two I won’t have any at all. If you are going through this too just remember being positive and looking on the bright side will get you through this, you’re stronger than you think. Good luck to everyone that shared their stories in the comments!

Can I ask how you discovered you had cancer? Did you have any symptoms? I’ve had problems with swollen lymph nodes for years now and I went in for a CAT scan, but they told me nothing appeared to be wrong. However, I’ve got several lymph nodes swollen in my neck and it doesn’t seem normal.... they’ve been there for about four years... It’s just bizarre and I worry everyday.

Lucia Dalia I just wish I knew... i know I need to go to the doctor again but I’m so terrified... it’s such a stupid excuse but I also recently moved out of country and going to the doctor won’t be easy atm. A part of me always wonders if it’s cancer, but I don’t have any other symptoms so it’s just so hard to know for sure. I keep asking myself if it was cancer wouldn’t it have gotten worse? Idk... I’m definitely making a doctors appointment in the next few months. I’m just petrified of hearing that word...

my name is Roy Morris from Brisbane. This is for all cancers. This bicarb saved our friends life when she had an inoperable brain tumour with NO CURE and now months later she is back home independent, working again. Friends even took it to her while she was in hospital. Another man with leukemia is getting his blood count back to normal as well. Make sure you get aluminium free bicarb from a health food shop you just need the cheapest one NOT the expensive one. You can just use the kettle to boil the water to dissolve the bicarb in a cup with a bit of honey or maple syrup (if you don't like the taste) 1 teaspoon of bicarb 3 times a day to start with. You don't want to overload the kidneys by taking more than this. If you are going to use honey please source it from a farmers market or a local supplier as other honeys from supermarkets are made with chemicals, they even found the manuka honey is modified. www.herbscanheal.com/single-post/2016/03/16/Man-Cures-His-Own-Terminal-Cancer Kerry, with the brain tumour, said she just took the bicarb and dissolved it in cold water 1 teaspoon 4 times a day as she is a diabetic. Much Love and Blessings...x

This made me cry. Such an important message. I’m a nurse and took care of a woman who was diagnosed with colon cancer at 26 (while I was 27). It was so surreal to care for someone who was my age going through such a life changing and scary experience. I felt so lucky to be able to care for her for each of her surgeries and see her reach the other side of her fight ❤️

Leina Rodriguez As far as I know, the name’s health anxiety and I myself are suffering from it.

AngelaRose The Scorpio. It’s illness anxiety disorder. I’m a licensed therapist who had to learn the DSM. It was previously labeled as hypochondria. Either way, based on what you’re describing, this is what you’re referring to regardless of how it’s labeled. I only tell you the name in case you may want to look further information. This disorder depending on how extreme can be quite the stressor in someone’s life.

Wow to whoever disliked this video... really disgust me that you would even consider pressing that button, but anyways I love this story and it’s crazy how her life changed so quick and how that could happen to any of us. I’m glad she’s better and appreciates her self more than she did before because she’s beautiful and amazing in ever way.
