This reminds of when I realized I got all the golden tools except the shovel back in March 2021. I started playing May 2020, and got the gold net and gold rod by December. So I deduced that a person could reasonably get the majority of the golden tools in one year or less than a year based on when they start. The golden watering can isn’t exactly time sensitive and can be achieved whenever, same with the axe and slingshot. Then I looked up the requirements of the golden shovel and then started “doing math” on how long it would take to get the golden shovel if a person played the game a little bit every day and don’t do any time traveling to cheat the system, And my calculations were based on a “best case scenario.” Since you gotta help Gulliver 30 times, Best case scenario, every 2 weeks Gulliver shows up on the beach and his arrival days never coincide with any special events or holidays. With 52 weeks in a Gregorian calendar year, that means best case scenario you will only be able to help Gulliver 26 times in a year. So the last four times come out to 8 weeks, which is, Like, 2-3 more months. Which means that unlike the other golden tools that can be acquired within a calendar year, even less if you’re lucky, but the shovel would take the most amount of time. And that’s the best case scenario. Taking any variables into account means that it could take maybe a year and a half or more technically making it the hardest golden tool to get if you’re just some casual player.
@hotpinkkt2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the shovel (and axe) are the only golden tools I don't have and I got the game May of 2021 and got my golden rod and net in December ( I did time travel to April since I got the game 3 weeks after my bday and wanted the cherry blossom DIYS, still don't have em all but got the ones I really wanted). My first golden tool was the watering can. I got that after only like 2 months or so of playing. It was really easy for me. Next was the slingshot, then the fishing rod then the net ( I missed one damn bug in summer as I took a 3 month break, which was half of the summer so I had to TT back to get the horned Hercules but other than that, I didn't have to TT to get anything else)

Incredibly late suggestions for a video, that have both probably been suggested a few times to you: - How fast can you obtain all 10 of your villagers' pictures? -How fast can you get an island made up of entirely one characteristic. That could be an island of all one type of animal, so an island of 10 cat villagers or 10 bears. Or you can do an island of only one personality type. Sorry if these have been done or suggested before!

The amount of times you caught a great white shark is so funny especially because it took me ages to catch one

Olaf doesn't deserve the hate he gets. He's hilarious and one of my favorites.

Video suggestion: pay off all your debts by only selling tree branches (that is the cheapest thing in the game, worth 5 bells) Which means no balloons, no money rocks, no nothing. Only tree branches. Or, considering you can get endless tree branches (which would make the video boring asf), perhaps paying off all your debts only by selling the trash you can find fishing. 10 bells each.

I saw this when it was premiering, thought "it's probably a few hours and will be posted onto youtube, I'll join later!" and now I cannot brag about watching it when it premiered.
