Borderlands is one of my all-time favorite games and you still have way more patience than I do who cares about platinum I'm not putting all of that grinding and there's just no way

The platinum trophies aren't too bad. Playing the game and doing all the missions...pretty normal stuff. The moxxi DLC which just gets you to 100% is where the awful kicks in. 1/10 would not recommend.

Being a perfectionist as a gamer is a double-edge sword. I have two games on xbox 360 that I am not looking forward to get 100%, this and GTA 4. Kudos to you for getting a platinum.

@@monkeymunchie9717 Borderlands was just tedious but at least most of it was enjoyable. I got some upcoming vids where I wanted to stop midway ha. GTA 4 is going to be crazy to get with all those multiplayer trophies! Good luck!

@ main game was dope, considering just a few years ago, I hated everything about Borderlands💀 But I started to love it because I finally got the plat for the Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep one shot, so I bought the rest of the games. Dr. Ned’s Zombie Island was fun, and I really enjoyed the Claptrap revolución🤣 Even General Knoxx DLC was awesome! But the RnG and Moxxi trophies, maaan🥴🥴 Really killed the enjoyment of some of the trophies, like having to play 6-7 hours of boring and tedious waves in split screen alone😭 Or farming claptrap’s just to get some goddamn pizzas or oil cans🤷🏻‍♂️ But I fought through it, and I had a pretty great time with it all (except Moxxi’s DLC, that one can go to hell) Also, it feels realllyyyy satisfying having the 100%!

I recently did BL 1 100% Myself. Pretty dumb how it took me 36hrs to do all Side Quests for all DLC, get Lvl 61 and Kill Craw. But...6hrs of that is just Moxxie DLC bsht. At the very least, Lilith made life easy with insane movement speed. I gotta say though...saying BL 1 takes forever to 100% means ur just getting into Achievement Hunting. I've been Achievement Hunting for about a Decade now. I gotta say...50-60hr Average 100% is about the normal. I'd definitely recommend having a few games on hand that you can 100% in one sitting just to act as a "break" when Achievement Hunting anything 50hr+. This will keep burn out from taking you over as it often fills the need for the feeling of..."Ahh another one done" dopemine response in your brain.

@@prevalentdarkness8481 I’ve been grinding out trophies since they started on PS3 so I’m not new to the hunt. Up to 175 plats as of last week. I’m not necessarily trying to maximize my efforts or be the most efficient. I generally just see what may be missable and then figure the rest out as I go. I also just dink around in games so sometimes it takes me a little longer than most. It’s not really about getting the most trophies these days. Just trying getting fun and/or challenging ones.

@@kma4835 yeah that’s the most painless way to do it if you’re just going for the trophies on moxxi. Unless you happen to have some friends that want to play it for some fun. Otherwise it’s an awful solo slog.

Killing the Claptrap boss for those panties was terrible, but killing Crawmerax was the worst ... needed to kill him usibg the ledge glitch. Hate it when such a game requires nothing less than Diablo 2 style grind to get the "perfect" weapons to kill a boss.

The claptrap collectibles were just awful but the whole mad Moxxie DLC was even worse. No experience for any of it was really cruel. I get the devs probably didn't want people to just grind out levels in the arena but it just has so little value unless all you want to do is fight enemy waves over and over again. I'd take 2 Crawmerax's over the Moxxie DLC any day!

Just realized I might’ve accidentally sold one of the claptrap inventory upgrades on my first play through as I’ve completed every mission in the main game but don’t have 42 inventory spots…

@@hibbity_hooblah not sure what you mean. It looks normal to me. Maybe it looks differently depending on what version/console you’re on. This is PS3 so I wouldn’t be surprised if the PC or updated PS4 versions look a little different.

I only need 2 more clap trap achievements to 100% borderlands 1! Blehhhhh, oil cans and bobble heads Also, on Xbox we have 80 achievements lol, not 81, so I think we miss the one where someone already has the achievement thing

It's not fun but I just hide behind the rock in the claptrap boss room for hours. The kamikaze claps blow themselves up and eventually you can just go pick up a bunch of items. Hopefully you can get it! The 81st trophy is the platinum for getting all the trophies in the base game. It's a freebie trophy.
