And I gotta say; they didn't disappoint. Mine's turning out to be the friendliest little guy.

Cute new addition with beautiful coloration! Congrats. Sabzy is a sweet name, and generally fits for both male and female. That is a huge space for the little fella; you may hardly spot him in there. Have fun with him and keep us updated.

I got a captive baby gtm this fall probably like 5-6 months ago. Congrats man they grow so fast it’s unreal. Mines female, but she has been very difficult to gain trust. She’ll rarely hand feed. We’re getting there slowly though. Atleast she’s not a biter.

Glad you went the extra mile and supported captive breeding programs, I know they can be a hell of a lot more expensive. It's definitely help there be more options of ethical sourcing in the future, and in the longrun, reduce the number of these wonderful little fellas being taken from their home in the wild. I hope Sabzi grows big and strong and you're able to do lots of bonding training!

Tree monitors are the best! The whole prasinus complex is amazing and it is hard to choose a favorite. But V.macraei has a special place with me as they are the first tree monitors I have started keeping. Good luck with the little one!

Congrats! Your little Sabzi is super cute and in loving hands! I got one of my dream lizards, well a pair, last weekend. Two Green Keeled Lizards (Gastropholis Prasina). They are my mini green tree monitors and I love watching and interacting with them.

I saw on animal planet today with captive bred lizards. They put worms in a container that looks like a fock on the top there are two small holes..they wait for the insects to come out. Really cool to watcg

I should have my GTM hatchling this coming Friday and will be using the exact same enclosure. Yours looks great. Is it holding humidity well? I'm setting it up on Sunday and hope to have it dialed in by the time it arrives.

Thats brilliant! Congrats! I would def line the enclosure with cork panels/tiles because the glass enclosures obviously have terrible insulation. Enjoy!

what a wonderful tank ! congrats ! i know it's not really related to the video but i have a question for you : how can i create a great bond with my aft gecko ? he's extremely shy and barely goes out of his hot hide so socializing with him is a bit hard 🥺 i don't wanna force him or frighten him but if i always let him be i'm afraid he might never get used to me 😥 thanks by advance and keep up with the good work ! thank you very much! I would recommend slowly getting them used to your presence around the enclosure/room. The best thing you can eventually do is have then feed from you off of tongs as this will associate you with food ;). Best of luck! Thanks for watching!

What a cute little guy, finding those captive bred is probably difficult and pricey! I know they arent cheap even as imports. My dream animal is a black dragon water monitor so a bit larger of an enclosure will be needed 😒
