Lol it's a false sense of working. I've played decks like that and it can work how you want it to sometimes but most often or not you get screwed by opening too many dead cards and hope that your opponent doesn't just ash the first card you play. But it's blue eyes most likely they'll take the bait on your hand being terrible and just ash.

It really depends on the ratios, blue eyes players insist on playing 3 and 3 of vanilla and alternative and you just can’t anymore. I played it after battle of chaos support and you’ve gotta cut the bricks down by a ton

Reminds me of the deck I played when I got back into YuGiOh in 2020. Started with a generic Blue-Eyes deck but actually kept refining it until it contained shit like VFD. The idea was to use Lib to set World Legacy Guardragon from deck to go into Elpy, loop the stone that adds vanilla blue-eyes, then 4 mat Saryuja, put all of the Blue-Eyes back. Between Melody, Brotaur and Chaos Space, you usually drew deep enough with Saryuja to go into Levianeer, Chaos Creator etc. VFD was possible with the Fusion Trish (which acts as a search in combination with new CED!) and any Lvl 9 Synchro or Mardark (which is what enables Lib, you bin it with Dragon's Ravine, Foolish or Dragon Shrine). Of course 60 cards to decrease the chances of seeing your bricks. VFDing Adamancipators was based as hell.

As a low rank player, I hadn't been having too much trouble. I remember seeing coder ask who plays master duel and that he only finds it bearable because he streams it. Now that tearlaments are here, even though I'm at gold 5, it's the only deck. I logged on to do my dailys and faced 3 in a row. I might finally be abandoning this shit.

Pro tip, a zombie deck, even the structure deck you can get for 100 gems, absolutely dumpsters tearlaments. I climbed from gold 4 to plat 3 in a day just grinding up these losers... Just make sure you go first though.

Gold IV here Dailies too, then I'm out, faced 2 Tears so far, but one of those was a... Odd pilot to say the least; just play at your pace, Gold I (200 gems) with a decent deck is just a matter of time (Climb from there upwards isn't worth the rewards) Edit: By decent I didn't mean meta, but something that makes sense... climbed with 60 card "fiend deck" (No Infernoid) last season

So that was a play you did. What i saw was a different play. You using Desires to bait the negate which they would do easy and then you could've either taken the Harbinger or just taken his Baronne. If you took the Baronne you could've used it's effect after attacking with it first and then destroying his Harbinger with Baronne (if you didn't take the Harbinger) and the destroying his other monster. Then you could've used his Baronne destroy effect which can destroy itself. This would leave you with one monster but then it be hard to out the other cards. Either way it wasn't a easy board to crack no matter which way you try to do it.

4:35 Man, that take did not age well. They semi'd or limited all of Tear along with the three Ishizu semis and it's still Tear 0. Though that was obvious since it took Konami orbinal nuking every card in the deck to finally make it not broken in OCG and TCG. (by orbital nuking I mean they limited _all Tears, all Ishizus, and banned the playstarter Tear fusion_ )

My guy, 25% of his deck is Blue Eyes and support for BE, that's more than enough to constitute part of the deck type. To be exact, it's a a Chaos D-Link BEWD hybrid. If a deck can be considered an Ishizu Deck by running one Mudora and Agido, 15 cards in main should be more than enough.

Even the "Blue Eyes" deck that won a world tourney was less than HALF main deck blue eyes, with the rest being just really good generic support meant to synergize with it. You can't just pick and choose, when the community has already laid out how it works. Is "Blue-Eyes" part of the deck name? Yes? Then it should appear when you search by "Blue-Eyes" decks. As I already said. If two cards making up a specific archetype changes the dech category, then 15 is WELL over that threshold.

“Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes players are out to make this card good by any means” Love it or Hate it, he spittin… If only they gave DM cards that put the deck in line with Modern Archetypes without having to jump through hoops, like, give DM an Archetypal Fusion Spell (Secrets IS interesting for the simple fact of Battle Phase OTK), Give us a proper Omni-Negate (OR FREE FUCKIN DRAGOON FFS), it’s like if they made DM good or give it some competently modern support or retrains, they could make money off of the desperation DM players have. ~A DM Player playing a PUNK Tenyi deck and an Agents Spright Deck on the side
