According to Amanda of Swell Entertainment, who's been to four of these now, this was the worst one she's been to, they were just extremely disorganized and made many questionable decisions about the panel's and venue placement. She talked about the Hyatt too, for anyone that's interested in events or event planning, I'd highly recommend her videos.

Haha pretty sure that’s just an excuse lol he has said many times he wants to do 5 years total and he could already retired and would also be willing to do so but he still has quite a few employees so I think he wants to make sure they are in a safe position before closing his company/channel. I was at both. Yeah as an attende for VidCon not very fun tbh. There is not that much to do interaction wise. There are way less booths at VidCon than Twitchcon. Over half of the booths are merch stores and another quarter are companies advertising products. You can’t find any creators except at their designated meet and greets. Other than Ludwig breaking the rules, I only found Steven He and a few others not really caring. I did not see a single gathering for people into different games, hobbies, or fandoms. Like VidCon could be done in a couple hours. Twitchcon there was so much going on, there was not enough time for everything. Another thing I found was that although VidCon was way more organized, it just felt really bland. Twitchcon was a chaotic mess of scandals and mismanagement, but that chaos came from how much cool stuff was going down. So yeah, unless VidCon has killer lineup next year. Twitchcon all the way.

@@MachtheMoonI mean based on Ludwig’s stories it’s pretty obvious that VidCon is more of a corporate convention for insiders like cons in any other industry. They just happen to make some events open to the public for some PR. Twitch con is a chaotic mess because it’s pretty clear Twitch corporate couldn’t give less of a shit about it. They just contractually obligate their top 1% to show up then outsource the actual running of the event. Thus people literally breaking their backs in it. Executives barely show up if at all and definitely don’t hold meetings with creators there to discuss the site.

My biggest problem with KZbin Live is if you dont already know and subscribe to a creator who streams on youtube like you, you cant find new creators. When i go to the live tab its FULL of lofi live streams and various news coverages. I cant find anyone doing just chatting or gaming and theres no way to filter it better so i end up jumping to Twitch when youre not streaming for other live content

Some KZbin changes that would be helpful are: - quality/resolution controls on Shorts (Right now, sometimes it automatically defaults to 144p, and it is too fuzzy to see what is going on.) - vertical streams and longer videos - controls to convert horizontal format videos to vertical videos and vertical videos to horizontal format videos. - subscriber emojis usable on more channels (E.g. Ludwig emojis usable on Ludwig VODs and Ludwin shorts as well.) - Automatic VOD partitioning of long streams. (e.g. when Ludwig does a 24-hour steam every 8 hours, it will automatically save and upload without disrupting the stream.) - Events Schedule tab, similar to a calander that creators can mark dates for special events or upcoming topics that subscribers can see when things will be on. Even better if you can export dates to your google calendar.) - NSFW and Spoiler tags so messages can be hidden from people viewing the video for the for the first time or who do not wish to see censored comments. -the ability to declare and site music and videos sourced from other KZbinrs so it doesn't get copy striked and the original creator gets the credit for it.
