Thanks Justin, I subscribed to her channel. Hope you all survived the pig butchering this weekend. I'm anxious to hear all about it! Bet you had some delicious food cooked up!♡ Tell Rebecka I hope she's felt well thru all the added work going on this weekend. As a long time sufferer of Hashimoto's disease and pernicious anemia, stressful times really causes additional stress on our already weakened bodies. See you tomorrow.

The beginning just made us grin :-) We've had our share of meal difficulties here on our farm (especially with 8 cooks in the house taking turns throughout the week!) but it's getting better! (We find our dinners always turn out better when we pray over them during preparation.) We've really appreciated Jill's information - she has some great stuff!

And I grew up watching the show that immortalized that wonderful pioneer, Laura Ingalls. A dream of mine for a very long time. I'd like to know how you get your spouse on board with the idea of homesteading? He's a real city boy and I'm not sure if its fear of the unknown. I'm continuing to push the homestead lifestyle, I home cook, grow my own vegetables, sew, make my own soaps, cleaning supplies, etc, but want to start with chickens for eggs and meat and work my way up to maybe Guinea hogs. I want to raise the best food I possibly can.

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know what yr it is. My wife picks on me because I don't know the yr, how old I am, or usually what day of the week it is. Trivial things do not concern me. I rate these things as trivial.

Why is Gideon called Mr. Brown?
@AppalachianLife5 жыл бұрын
Because he likes Dr. Seuss's Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?
@kenchappell20545 жыл бұрын
It's based upon the book by Dr. Seuss, "Mr Brown Can Moo, Can You?" It was his favorite book when he was a toddler. He liked it so much that they started calling him Mr. Brown and the nickname stuck.
