Keep in mind that you need daylight, not sunshine for these to work.. Bright days, not hot days..

Only found your channel tonight. Good videos. I find 8 solar panels will trickle-charge my EV at about 1-2 Kw p h for 5 hours on sunny days. Slow but steady.

Welcome.. :) I'm primarily using it for powering the house.. There's no way I can reliably use it to charge the car.. Just the occasional top up, as you said..

Looks like you are getting shading from the chimney, do you have any power optimizes like Tigo's installed?

I am indeed getting shade from the chimney but only after about 6pm. The panels are still generating enough to cover the house until about 9pm on bright days so far. The DC optimizers are not available for the SolaX system and in this case also not needes or worth the extra expense.
