Can't believe you go in openings that small. Yikes! I think that's the second time you got stuck but this time you didn't have Mrs. 49er to pull you out. LOL Cool to see Bear's a mine explorer too. Thanks for the hard work digging that adit out to show us the mine. Enjoyed it.

Great to see you found some Dynamite boxes did you know that they are all so dated on the ends or the sides the dates would have told the age of the workings ? Real happy you found that small hole and used your gopher digging experience boy you had the dirt a flying 😂⛏️🏆

We don’t like you exploring on your own ! You’ve left yourself very vulnerable - especially climbing out of a loose rock, upward and tight scramble…unless you had attached a rope to something fixed. By the way, you mentioned comms with Mrs 49er…surely there is no cellphone coverage in the areas you typically find mines? Given there can be hardly any (or no) cellphone network masts erected in wilderness and remote mountain / desert areas areas. How do you manage - especially if you found yourself in an emergency situation? Or do you use Sat phones? 🚢🇬🇧🚂⛏

I sure appreciate your concern. I try to be safe, but sometimes the little boy in me gets too excited. We use GMRS radios when cells don’t work.
