@@NO7HINK While it was a cool ending, you need to remember to that Kill la Kill was made as a fan service anime from the start but needed to appeal to a wide variety of viewers. so to edge that out they were sorta obligated to add some sort of story to it.
@NO7HINK
@NO7HINK 4 жыл бұрын
@@almond6520 Kill la Kill was not a fan service anime (appart from Ryuko and Satsuki no one is wearing a skimpy outfit and the anime is free of all the usual fan service trops and visual shots), it contain fan service on the main characters outfit but if you look closely the concept life fiber is everywhere right from episode 1. It's obvious that the plot twist was written from the start and not added in the end as Deus Ex Machina.

@@NO7HINK Yeah, a bunch of hot, shirtless guys bonding together to make a nudist colony isn't fan service. Girls are fans to, you know. Not to mention the perverted family members and that practically EVERY female both protagonist and antagonist was naked in that show. There's the outfits they wore, the 2 or 3 hot bath/shower scenes (not to mention the one scene with Satsuki and her mom in the bath). I'd name all the instances off where a girl was giving out fan service to the viewer. It falls into EVERY DAMN FANSERVICE TROPE. But I guess you're too naive to notice it.

Gurren Lagann literally saved my life back in the day - it came around right as I was caving in to a very stupid and permanent idea, if you catch my meaning, and that message of 'never give up, and never stop moving forward' was exactly what I needed at the time, with exactly the right delivery method to actually get it through my skull I know that not everyone at Trigger was there to make TTGL, but Imaishi-san and the rest of the production and animation staff... they're my heroes, and always will be. Seeing them all work at a new studio with even bigger ballsier projects warms my heart, and everything they've made so far (except the ending of Darling in the FranXX) has made it into my top favorite fictional works of all time Yes, even the animation shorts like Sex and Violence with Machspeed. I do my homework.

I first got introduced to Studio TRIGGER through Promare and I heckin loved that movie. It became my obsession for a while and needless to say Lio was my definite favorite character. After watching it, I became curious about the studio and heard of Kill La Kill so I watched it too, and boy that was good. I'm still a new fan and delving into the studio but I really enjoyed this video and it was super cool. Thank you so much for making this!

this video brings me so much joy, because as an aspiring animator trigger has been one of those studios i aspire to work at, just because i adore their work so so much, and it has made me so happy that you have made a video with one of the animation producers. and it made me so happy when you started getting so excited about seeing the key frames from some of their series/movies as that is how excited i get when i talk about animation in general :)
