After seeing this game. Some might say it’s like DDLC, but MiSide actually has enough things going for it that basically expands on the idea and really runs with it. Each of the Mita’s are different enough to actually feel genuine despite being basically an NPC copy. Honestly one of if not the better indie games of this year. Has some actual good scares too.

Games like this are such a gem, I love how not only the story was shown well but the entire game. Many things in the environment was as if it was real in it's own world. Ryan you should absolutely consider playing Signalis at some point! It's a sci-fi survival horror game that takes a lot of inspiration from Evangelion, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Nier Automata. It’s super terrifying and trippy in some places kind of like how Mouthwashing was, and you have to be super careful with your resources since you can only carry six items at a time (the flashlight counts as one item) Its an absolute gem and I would 100000% recommend Signalis

This is an amazing game!” I haven’t watched your video yet, Ryan, but the moment I get home, I’m watching it all the way through!! Edit: I’m also glad they didn’t directly add any 18+ content (even though there is a good amount of questionable moments); I think that would’ve taken a lot away from the story. I would also recommend playing their other games too. Umfend and Wire Lips are pretty good imo . . . . . . . . Spoilers for the game: My personal theory is that Player 1, the guy we play as the entire game, is actually the dev for MiSide, or at least one of them. But he can't remember because he's already been turned into a cartriage since the beginning of the game. My main reason for believing this is because he wrote code for Core Mita and Mita's heart in the genjutsu Mita put him in near the end of the game. He's also been described as a workaholic who sits at home to work all day. Specifically coding, which he also specified at the very beginning. He's also known as Player 1 in the cartriage profiles, so it's possible he got turned into one early on. But this just a personal theory of mine with little to no evidence to support that so, I hope the major update for the game can answer some stuff.

Some youtubers disabled it but there are Japanese and Russian VA on the setting

I assume he disabled it fir multiple reasons. One is he can voice characters himself, another is because it's Japanese so most viewers wouldn't understand and it'd be a fight between him saying the voice lines over the actual VAs based on the subtitles, or just having viewers have to read it. Basically, it was for easier editing and less risk of people who aren't actively looking at the video like people with it on while doing other stuff who don't wanna have to pause and read every few seconds to know what characters said. It's just easier to disable voice and voice em himself. Pretty basic once you think about it that way. I hope this explanation helped you understand ^^

I swear games like this only come out once in a decade, so much details. And the fact that it’s an indie game makes it even more incredible. This really inspires me to start making games of my own. Really I’m in love with the game, not only because of the characters, but the animations, level designs, and also the simple idea that comes in your head and makes a game legendary.
