I always had really long hair and kept thinking I'd love to give an elfin style cut a go but was never brave enough as only wanted for a few days then have my hair back . Then I got a second brain tumour and have to have treatment which made my hair fall out. I loved the elfin cut for a while and embraced it, I had no choice anyway. 3 years on my hair is long again and I can't bring myself to even get it trimmed because watching it fall out had me sobbing. You'd look stunning with a bob or elfin cut. Go for in and embrace a new look

I had a similar experience when my hair fell out... I loved having shorter hair but when it fell out and I thought it would never grow back and it did and now it's the longest it's ever been and I feel a little guilty wanting to cut it

Instead of brushing out the curls. Run your fingers through your hair. It helps keep the curls. Also try to use a heat protection and anti frizz serum as it will help with the curls

I usually spray a little anti frizz on my hands before running my fingers through the curls. It opens up the curls and makes them smoother without ruining them like a brush does.

I would 100% recommend buying a few ever so glitzy hairgrips. I have very similar hair and if I just pull up a couple of bits from the front and pin them at the side, people always think I've put loads of effort in and my hair is also out of my face a bit. Loved the outfits BTW.

For the clip hair I think it would help if you waved or loosely curled your hair to give it more texture/volume. Also when you curl your hair with the straightener, you gotta curl it with your finger RIGHT after it comes out of the straightener to shape the curl in the right direction otherwise it won’t work

When I curl my hair with a flat iron, I loosely curl the bottom layer. It doesn't have to be perfect but I try to make sure that there aren't any super straight bits. After doing everything but the top, I carefully curl the top layer. If bits look straight or weird I fix them. I never brush my hair after curling it... it just makes mine have a bushy loose wave appearance.

Loved this video ! Honestly, I can 100% relate to how you were feeling ! Just a tip for curling hair with straighteners : once you've wrapped a strand of hair in the straighteners, hold the straighteners vertically and twist them in this position while moving away from your hair. Once you've got that movement down it is super quick and easy. I learned from a video from The Anna Edit. I think it took me 3 to 5 times before it became easy. Believe me : if I can do it, anyone can as I'm a disaster when it comes to hair & beauty stuff haha 😅
