If you work yourself into retirement, you're likely never to do the things you want to do. I have personally watched many people close to me retire only to immediately take another job, not because they need the money, but thats all they know after working 40+ years. I think each of us needs to find that balance of what is important to us.

@MMITZOFFICIAL So true. The best advice I could give you is to start developing a passive income stream. It doesn't have to be the typical suggestions like youtube or drop shipping, but the faster you can build up a side hustle the less attached to that day job you are. Even something as simple as mowing yards can be eye opening. I had a close family friend who was a property manager. He always had brand new cars and the big house and then one day I spot him mowing some guys yard. Come to find out he was struggling to make ends meet so he was forced to take on whatever sidewalk he could to keep up the appearance of wealth. But in the end that yard business ended up becoming his full time gig and he now makes more than he ever did in his career.

@MMITZOFFICIAL There’s hope bro, similar situation for me but still trying to survive, I plan to get a car and live in it starting next year and travel across the US while building my business. Best wishes bro and blessings. You can do this 🙏

But he is not young any more, by far. He is thirty eight, with no future. Now it's too late, he alreay missed the train. How long do you think he will keep being "interesting" or "original" enough to keep subscribers or viewers? Will you be watching the 500th version of this very same video in 5 or 10 years? Guess not, it gets boring and repetitive fast.

@fahey5719 38 is very much still young. There are so many people who don't even find their careers until their 40s. I suffered a spinal cord injury at age 26 that robbed me of some of my best years, but when I finally recovered years later, I started making up for it. I figure he will do this for a period of time until he meets the right person, and then he will do something else. I'd love to be able to just pick up and travel the states for a couple of years.... whether or not others found it entertaining.

As you mentioned, you love doing what your doing and have found happiness in the process! I don't think it's the lifestyle that your friend's wife is jealous of, but the happiness you found. Good for you Nomad-san and keep it up, we love the content that you push out!!
