@@charlesclark9627 hehehe. Those guys never worked on one or ever ride one ...I did it for eight years and had someone's nightmare on my lift table every day with major problems. The stupidest of all is the 15 amp rated plug of its 30 amp alternator and 50 amps of lights hung all over it. Now for the brain fart ..in order to change out a burned up alternator ...first you pull all the aftermarket chrome covers off the covers so you can get to all the plugins to unplug the wiring harness and then disconnect the fuel system and drain the cooling system ..put and engine jack under the engine and remove the right half of the lower frame ..after you drop the engine down a fraction discontent the drive shaft ...that's right kiddies we are pulling the engine out to change a common problem of all the 70'$ and 80$ goldwings that burn up alternators as fast as you canfixthem. But we are just now gertting started, cause the stator that burned out is behind the clutch cover on the back side of the engine's clutch and drive shaft couplings , so Honda put it in the hardest place to have a common problem as why did so many burn out , because the 30 amp alternator used a 15 amp plug to connect to the main wiring harness..i f I told one customer I told a 1000 or 2 to simply chop off the stupid plug in and soldier the wires together and then heat sheik them...but they never listen and kept me busy every day for eight years until I swore I will never pull another engine out of a goldeing

That is so cool. I did 10,000 miles in 30 days across country and back in Aug. 1995 on a 1996 Gold Wing Special Edition. It was a trip of a lifetime. I actually fell asleep going across Texas on I-10. Thank God for enertia on an 800lb bike. Woke up in the median, immediately wide awake, and made it back on the interstate. This brings back memories for sure. Great thing you did for that guy! Awesome! As Always, May God Bless you and yours!

And sell it if it runs cause they got engineering issues that is why they stopped making them early..I was lucky and found the problem doing. a 600 mile service check as I noticed there was a huge amount of clearance in the rocker arm / cam followers..so as I should began to adjust the clearance to their proper 0.003 " exhaust and 0.002" intake then as I roll the engine to adjust the rest of the valve. I heard. this horrible clunk..it was the end of the rocker adjuster sliding off the edge of the valve stand if Honda made one they made them all that way and I had just bought the 2nd one we had sold and put it back up on the show room floor and got me a Harley that was just traded in. And afterwards things began to happen to those v45$ like the. Can chain towers would break off in side the top of the cylinder head and wrap the can chain around the crank busting the engine cases...there are way more horror stories that are real about Honda's than any urban hog show

When i saw the cassette player, i said (out loud) holy sh!t. You kids today have no idea the struggles that we had to endure just to listen to music. If it got hot in your car, the tapes were likely to warp. The worst was if/when the tape would get tangled up inside the player. You had to be gentle getting it out and hope you had a pencil handy. You older folks know what the pencil was for.

It took me a few weeks of searching on FB mktplace to find a cheap, running bike. I eventually found a Vulcan 800 for $1400. The skins were from 3 different bikes, and three different colors, it's missing rear turn signals, but the chrome was pristine and it runs great! Finding cheap, working bikes is not easy.

Fun vid, nice bike! On 2-July about 6 or 7 pm my CTX700 and I was blowing by Lancaster on my way to Bristol. By the time you posted this the next day I had been through Susquehanna, swung over to Erie, and was on my way to Carlisle by way of Sewickley and Stoystown with a last leg through Gettysburg.
