Your storytelling technique is beyond amazing Maraji. Thank you for being so open and honest about this. First time I ever experienced Hemorrhoids I thought I’d die. It was a near-death experience. Imagine having an open wound and that same wound is constantly pricked with a needle. That’s the nearest explanation that came to mind and it still doesn’t suffice. But thank God for healing. I can’t say it was any medication that healed me. I also didn’t have any surgery. My healing is solely a miracle I tell you. Everything you said about it, while you were saying it, I could relate omg! Thank God you’re okay now. Stay beautiful Maraji. Xo!❤️

hahaha thank you for this video. I call piles 'dirty sick' . my dad and I are suffering from piles and there was a time I almost died from the pains 2 or 3 years ago. I opted for surgery but my dad encouraged me to persevere because it has proven that if after surgery you have a relapse, it's triple the pain before the surgery. I have two children through V delivery and hahahaha Labor can't compare with the pain severe piles bring. I've found a way of managing mine by ensuring i don't have hard stool. personally i think the awareness on piles is not loud enough
@Aima-Ton_E Жыл бұрын
The first time I had haemoroids was when i was in JS3 sometime in 2012 when I changed school to a local school. I call it a local school because my previous boarding school had a 10litre water can on each dinning table so students can drink water fast and easy before or after eating but my new school had nothing like that. There was only a tap outside the refectory for everyone to drink from, both senior and junior students. It was always a struggle to drink water from that tap with Senior students and rowdy JS 1 boys, so I'd walk back to my hostel promising myself I'd drink water once i got to my room. That's how i forgot to drink water after eating for days. Even if I drank, it would be so little cuz the thirst for it had died. It continued that way until twas time for me to poo. Gosh! Twas such a struggle. I cried, i crewed...lol and I prayed... OMG. I can't tell it all. Hostel parents or whatever they were called were rude towards me al the damn time calling me ajebo amd making fun of my critical situation. I can remember showing my anus to my classmates asking what that was. They were all confused including myself and they suggested different names for it. That's how my mom got me Liquid Parafin oil to easy myself when pooing. It's a liquid substance that is very oily and tasteless, more like drinking olive oil. Currently mine goes back inside when i push it in myself. My mom encouraged me to do so. I used to be lazy about the whole pile situation until my mom told me scary things about it and that I'll have to do surgery if i mess up. I should be in grade 2 or 3 or somewhere in the middle if there's a thing like that.😅 It's a whole lesson to kearn and take seriously. Thank you for the enlightenment Maraji.

Please help me explain this not seating for long on the toilet seat. If I'm not actively bearing down as to push poo out, is that bad? I could seat for say 15 mins, but about 12mins of that is just normal seating, like you would seat on a wooden bench, no active push, no 'opening' of anus to get something out. Just 'me' time. Anyway, what I sometimes do now is to clean up, dress up, close toilet seat and seat on it till I'm ready to leave.

Second, it took me a few months to understand how to use the cream correctly. Third, it would come and go. Fourth, this all happened because I had moved to another state in a whole different environment. My body went through the motions. It was truly a learning experience for me, but I pray to God that I will not have to go through it ever again. I didn't know what hemorrhoids was. All I know is its always difficult for me to pass stool. Then one day, a day that the stool decided to be nice and came liquidy, I thought its something that I ate that made me pass runny stool, I stood up from the toilet seat and felt dizzy immediately. Lo and behold, it was blood that was inside the toilet bowl. It wasn't the typical "there is blood in my poo", it was the other way round, there was too much blood with little specks of poo. I was so scared, I went to the hospital immediately and that's the first time I heard the word heamorrhoids. The doctors said they will check my anus to see if I'll need surgery and that got me super scared. Thankfully I didn't need surgery, I was given drugs and I felt better after very few days. It was not a good experience. I remembered when a nurse inserted a glass rod into my anus during one of the tests, I must have screamed the whole of UCH out that day 😭. Overtime, I've watch numerous videos on hemorrhoids and I think I've been managing nicely. I still get constipated sometimes and it really scares me. Thank you for sharing your journey Maraji. One key thing I learnt in this video is passing stool from the stomach, because I've noticed that anytime I'm constipated, I'll have pains in my anus for few hours after pooing Thank you Maraji, God bless you😍

I had this when I was younger(4-7years), they had to help push it in. I have it once a while even now when I purge and constipate. I don't get to go to toilet for days because of digestion issues, I'm always full and bloated and I am always scared of going into the toilet when I want to. I always push it in myself if it comes out, sitting or walking with it is painful. I've stayed away from any sugar for a year now, and I've started drinking a lot of water.

Watching this made me somewhat scared. I hope I don't have to go through the surgery. I've had herrmorroids for about six years now. I think I might be in stage 2 or 3 from what I watched. Yeah, I'm cutting out bread from my diet today henceforth. And I'm going to work on my diet too. I really hope and pray I don't have to get surgery.

Yeah. The part where you can't explain what you're going through. Its embarrassing. Constipation caused mine. Hearing that pregnancy is a risk factor makes it all the more scarier. Glad to see you're pregnant explaining this😂. I really need to get my life back. I feel I'm experiencing labour each time I go to the toilet to poop

Ahhh I had pile that were always recurring due to my poor diet and lack of physical activity..I had to change my eating habit and lifestyle generally, I lost few kg during the process, the more physically active I get the less hard my stool is and the less risk for pile…it’s been a year now and I haven’t experienced such and I pray don’t ever .

For years the theory of varicose veins, which postulated that hemorrhoids were caused by varicose veins in the anal canal, had been popular but now it is obsolete. Today, the theory of sliding anal canal lining is widely accepted. Hemorrhoids develop when the supporting tissues of the anal cushions disintegrate or deteriorate from a zinc dependent enzymes. Recently, increased microvascular density was found in hemorrhoidal tissue, suggesting that neovascularization might be another important phenomenon of hemorrhoidal disease.

Chai, i am currently having painful hemorrhoids and have had it for some years and honestly it is not funny, going to the bathroom is not a joke likr i am always praying to God in the bathroom. I have worked on my diet but it still hurts. When you spoke of Senna, I was literally screaming because my mom used to give that to me in the past and it helped. I will improve my diet more and also take the tea.
