Thank you so much for sharing, it's one of those things you don't think you will need to do, and it's very comforting to see you talking so openly about this.

Girl! Pelvic floor is life 👏 changing 👏 I did have some symptoms (my pelvic muscles were too tight after giving birth), and I know you mentioned you haven’t had any other symptoms, but it is at least worth a consult appointment. In many European countries, every birthing person gets referred to a pelvic floor PT after delivering vaginally. It is so underutilized here in the States, and that is such a shame.

Yes even when giving birth by c-section because the baby has put weight on the pelvic floor during 9 months. In France health insurance pays 10 pelvic floor sessions with a midwife.

The chart on putacupinit is a great resource! If you need a wider cup, you could organize by diameter and see which ones they recommend.

My cervix is lower now. I had to almost completely cut off my stem on my larger cup. And sometimes I have to readjust it through out the day. Which I have a heavier flow and one extra day added on. And I’m 1 year postpartum. I miss my prebaby periods. One bad/heavy day and then 3 light days. And I had no issue with my cup. I’m giving my body more time to heal before I make a permanent decision. I have decided occasionally to use a pad instead of the cup since having my son. Sometimes I still feel like I just don’t want anything up there. 🤷‍♀️ I honestly didn’t start feeling physically myself until a couple months ago. So I figure my body is just going slow at adjusting.

In the same boat over here... No symptoms of a pelvic floor issue other than my Lunette size 2 nearly fell out on a run 🤷🏻‍♀️. I ordered a Meluna cup because their extra large has a larger diameter but haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet. Although, I’m glad I’m not the only one that has this problem. I completely expected the size two to fit with no issues.

I hope you see this. For what it's worth, I've been going to pelvic floor therapy for awhile. If it's a quality care provider, they'll be able to identify any underlying issues the woman might not be fully aware of... I regret not going sooner and recommend to anyone who's willing to at least get examined before attempting kegels or other exercises.

Aim for about 100 kegels a day. Split them up to certain times during the day. Also...i am not an expert just a student of physical therapy. Pelvic floor therapist would definitely be able to examine you and see which muscles need more help.

I’ve been having similar issues since having my son. It took me almost two years to realize that my cervix drops low just before my period and then gradually returns to its usual high position. So I had to order a shorter cup for the first couple of days, but can use my tieut cup for the rest of my period.

I remembered that she is selling the period cup meluna aswell and I saw that it has 4 different cup sizes and was much larger than the ones I compared to. They are cheap also, so if you need a bigger one you can try that. They come in 3 different firmness's

100% my cervix has moved since having my son (and I had an unplanned c section). I can tell because i did cervix checks before i ever got pregnant while using FAM. I thought it was so interesting that while I didn't have my son vaginally, everything moved around! I just vlogged on postpartum periods myself, but what I found was I have to angle it differently. I also needed a less firm cup, which I discovered the hard way (ouch). I agree with what someone said above: maybe try a femmycycle. They look wider and squatter. Maybe that would help?

If you can't seem to get it to work on your next. Look into the fimi cycle those ones have been a lifesaver to me and I've tried several of them and that's the only one that I could get to work especially after having 3 kids

Omg, same! My cup kept sliding down, so I'm thinking maybe my cervix is lower? I might try a bigger cup later, but don't want to spend on one and have it not work.

I haven't given birth, but throughout my cycle my cervix is sometimes lower and sometimes higher and so the Lilycup compact sometimes sticks out a bit, and sometimes not. It's not uncomfortable or anything, so I'd say there is no reason to worry!

I noticed the same thing after I had my daughter 2 1/2 years ago. I even asked my ob and he checked me and told me I shouldn’t have any problems. But even still tampons, cups, aren’t sitting right in me. So I’ve just been using pads, even though that’s not environmentally friendly.

Charlie Banana reusable pads have worked well for me as an environmentally friendly option! I was worried about upkeep at first, but I just rinse them out right after use then toss them in the washer. They've held up really well after a year or so of monthly use.

oh yes I had the same issue after my second child. The combination of waaay more blood and my cervix being lower now too was making things uncomfortable at times.. I started having my period 9 months pp and am now 13 months pp... I tried two cups and the one I use now is the Yuuki Soft Size2. Which took me 1-2 periods to get used to but I am happy now.. BUT I feel like I might go back to a smaller size in a few months because still a lot changed after regularly working out (kegels,too)...

Everyone after giving birth (even by c-section) should have a pelvic floor appointment, even without signs of issues, because the issues can come a long time after (prolapsus, incontinence years down the road). Keigels alone are not as effective as having the expertise of a professional to help you. (Yes even when giving birth by c-section because the baby has put weight on the pelvic floor during 9 months. In France health insurance pays 10 pelvic floor sessions with a midwife.)

I'm having the same problems with cups. I am 20 months pp, and went to a pelvic floor PT at 6 months pp. She said i have a minor prolapse, that I otherwise wouldnt have known about-my midwife didnt even say anything. I'm using pads....and I hate it 😫

Hi Victoria, I’m enjoying your video’s and I wanted to thank you for being so honest about your experiences. You were asking about recommendations and I thought I would recommend HannahPads. This brand is great because of there eco friendly, health conscious and functional pads. There pads from the size medium down to their smallest has a non-slip silicone little grips on the back of their pads. Unfortunately the larger ones do not have the non-slip backing but in my experience I have not noticed the overnight ones slipping around so I would expect the other 2 larger sizes to be the same. Here is the american site if you wanted to check them out: hannahpadusa.com/collections/extras
