Yeah, pretty much every Supe on this show is based on/making fun of existing Marvel and DC characters. Homelander = Superman Queen Maeve = Wonder Woman Popclaw = Wolverine

​@eyesondale honestly, the show is much better. The man who wrote the comics famously hates superheroes. The comic is darker and more mean-spirited. The show is a clever commentary on corporate culture and hero worship of celebrities. Believe it or not, the comic is more violent and sexually explicit. For example, comic Starlight is a dumb bimbo. It isn't the Deep who "initiates" her into the Seven. It's Homelander, A-Train, AND Black Noir...
