Always the best scenery is where the weather can become extreme. I was quite expecting the drone to do a very low pass over the edge of the canyon at speed, that would have been a great shot.

I feel like I’m watching family vacation videos. I grew up in South Africa and also spent 4 years in Namibia. In a small mining town called Rosh Pinah. Namibia was still called South West Africa. I also spent a memorable vacation as a boy in Ai-Ais. On Sundays we’d drive to the dried out parts of the Fish River and Orange River beds. We’d spend the day collecting bags of agate, rose quarts and more. Over the years we also collected the exoskeletons of 26 species of scorpions. 😳😱These videos are making me nostalgic about my younger years, without a care in the world. Your videos are amazing. Enjoy the amazing rugged beauty that only exists in the desert.

Hello Noraly from New Zealand. Another inspirational video, many thanks. It's very easy for viewers to give advice about how to ride the rough parts, but you are the one there, doing it, with so many kms under your belt. You know what you are doing and you do such a good job of it. The main objective in those tough situations is to get through without harming yourself or your bike and you are achieving that brilliantly.

What a great episode. I have said it before but the combination of the drone shots, front and rear camera views, awesome camera editing and music make these videos pop out from all the rest out there. I don't think we appreciate the extra effort that goes into getting the drone shots. Noraly has to stop her bike, get the drone and controller out of the luggage, launch the drone, watch what is going on on the controller screen, carry on riding, try to stay in frame as much as possible and then fly the drone correctly with the controller perched on her tank bagin order to get those great camera angles. Then she has to stop and put it all away again. It would be easy to say "forget the drone, too much effort for now" but she never does. Well done 10/10 Can't wait for the next one...

I'm exhausted just watching Itchy Boots struggle riding on gravel. And for the life of me, I'm always imaging some large, wild animal looming in the background ready to pounce on Noraly when her bike stalls out. Better stop watching too many horror movies. Certainly, watching Noraly drive through the canyons brought memories of my driving through the canyons out west in the United States. I never desired to ride my motorcycle in the canyons as I don't like riding in the heat. Yes, I know the end of April through the first week of June is probably a good time to do so, if I want to catch longer daylight hours; however, I'd rather be convenient in a car. There's no end to Africa's landscape and the storytelling of its geography brought to us by Noraly. Thanks, and stay safe!

Now on the other hand my street bike is a hardtail bobber meaning it has no rear shocks so the air in the tire and your spine and lower back become the shocks. Scenes like at 10:42 that used to cost *THOUSANDS* per hour to hire a helicopter and camera crew to capture, can now be done by just one person - while riding along on your motorcycle! The Drone shots really accentuate the vastness of the area, the barrenness and how small ONE person is in the landscape. You are insignificant !!! ;-) I brings home the essence of humility, how small we are in Creation. A great place to really "find yourself". Land of extremes, too much sun, or too little; NO water or too much. How LUCKY you travelled LIGHT to the view points. Just after some EPIC rains too. !!! As a qualified "dirt scratcher" ;-) - - the ground is so hard that NOTHING soaks in. . . when it rains, the water simply RUNS down hill wherever it can. It does not rain often and you simply chose the "right" time - - - shortly after EPIC rains !!! ;-) As you said / found out "commitment" to the chosen line is ESSENTIAL, come dust or high water ;-) I was riding with you every turn of the wheel.

Great video. I am impressed how you keep your cool in stressful situations like this road. True enduro riding is controlled chaos and picking the proper line with momentum. Great job.

You got the right bike for what you are doing. Not sure when you started but it has not let you down at all. Well done Honda.

on the pegs, pick your line, look where you want to go, and GAS IT ! You already know that because you said you had the momentum and twisted off instead of on...I am impressed with your sense of adventure...and courage !
