There is a moment in season 4 where some of the girls talk about Brexit and Hayley(the one who you pointed out added very valuable commentary) didn’t know what it was. The US did that once and they should have kept it in place. Regardless of the intentions of implementation of it in the US was, it kept the dumb people out.
