Had initially a similar reaction, and apparently Ellah Pernell (voice of Jinx) confronted the writer on the show and asked “why would you write that? What the hell is wrong with you?” And the writer had a devastatingly good response. In times of extreme civil unrest and war, these tragedies come for everyone. And I hate confronting that truth. I’m a dad, I love Aisha, I bawled so hard after episode 5, so happy to see a father reunite with his daughter with such love. But this is the unfortunate truth to war and conflict. With haves having too much and the sacrifices ordinary people make to make the system work for everyone. But yeah… totally feel you. No Christmas presents for Arcane under the tree this year

Yup… they did it. When you said, “if something happens to Isha”, i was worried on how you were going to react. You reacted as I expected and welllll… we all hope you come back to finish off the season. This is the Arcane, and we are not allowed to have nice things.

She'll be back. Arcane's writers are making me believe in art again. I've laughed and cried watching this show, at times I was doing both. The artists that have made this are top shelf.

Your take on Caitlyn is wild to be honest. It's signposted through out the entire act that she is regretting and distrustful of Ambessa. It's also exceptionally clear that Maddie means nothing to her. Go watch the start of Ep 4 and watch how Caitlyn displays zero affection to her. It's a rebound, coping for losing Vi, the same way Vi copes by drinking. Caitlyn even tells Ambessa to her face she doesn't trust her. It's even more obvious when she finds her with singed. But she also knows Ambessa is powerful and if she tries to act on her own she'll be dead in 30 seconds in an 'accident'. Her teaming up with Vi should have been no surpise at all.

I understand her anger, we wonder why she would sacrifice herself? But the writers wanted to show that unfortunately Arcane takes place in a world where there are wars, magic and monsters. And in cruel worlds like the arcane world, people leave, and others sacrifice themselves. And that's what Isha did, she sacrificed herself for everyone around her and for the jinx, it's hard to accept I know, but the world of arcane is unfortunately cruel. And this scene was fantastic and necessary. We loved Isha until after the end.

It's a drama, i know, but that last scene broke something deep within me. And it's also so simbolic, well written and it was even predictible if you think about it... Isha did exactly what she learned, she was the Powder 2.0 and all the goods and bads that came with that. She saw Jinx, learn to be a "hero", and then became a martir.

I read an article a few days ago saying that while Arcane is finished, there is a high probability that League of Legends will release new content. Nothing is known for sure whether THIS story will be continued or not, but the sentiment is that there is room for much more to come.

What were you expecting? The opening of season 2 is just a serie of characters references to historic paintings & literature tragedies(mostly french ones with greeks origins) and you stilll hope it will end well Haha Delusional Episode 9 will be a total tragedy Catlyin =Mcbeth - Shakespeare Viktor= the phantom of Opera - Gaston Leroux Ambessa & Mel =Cesar?/the death of Socrates? - jean louis David Jinx=Les Miserables - Victor Hugo / La liberté guidant le peuple(Liberty leading the people) - Eugene Delacroix

I think I remember seeing Jinx kind of absorb some of the energy that's held in those little orbs she uses to power her gun. I mean every time she "gets fast" her eyes light up. Although to be fair it COULD just be an artistic animation choice. lol. That's how she was able to not only hold her own against Vi, but get in close to slap her. She's just overwhelmingly quick.

I don't actually think Vi can "pick locks." I think Caitlyn simply left the cuffs unlocked, or broken. If Vi could pick locks why did she stay in prison for years??? Granted opening the cell door doesn't mean she can escape automatically, BUT.....picking locks.....that's a start. Now JINX on the other hand, I feel can definitely pick locks. It's their personalities. Vi wouldn't even BOTHER to learn to pick locks when she can just get stronger and smash them. Vi's a bit of a "butch," so beefing up until she's too strong to be bound, IS her "lock- picking." Jinx is dainty an crafty and would see picking locks as a game. I mean she's REALLY petite. She's like HALF Vi's size in body mass. And that's saying something since Vi isn't all THAT huge either.

Vi got out of the cuffs that the Firelights put her in pretty easily in S1E7 without apparently breaking them.

@rzlittle okay fair enough. But consider that the Fire lights aren't using Military grade equipment either. Perhaps she DID break them, they just stayed intact. She COULD have simply broken the locking mechanism by sheer force. That would leave her restraints intact. Either way I'm not willing to believe she has lock-picking skills.

Jayce's argument is one that is used so many times by people with little imagination. The claim that Hex-tech is evil is just an ignorant assumption. Hex-tech isn't self aware and doesn't have the capability of making choices. it literally cannot BE evil. it's the person USING Hex-tech that is either evil or good. I mean using Jayce's logic, then instead of putting a murderer on trial, you should put the weapon itself on trial. Also Hex-tech doesn't JUST create weapons. I'm sure it's used for all types of advancements. I mean destroy ALL Hex-tech because ONE psychopath blew up the ruling council???
